Book Review Poll #1!
Hello Steemians!
As the privileged owner of the @bookreview username, I am, of course, required to post a few book reviews! I've read a multitude of books ranging from fiction to self-help to nonfiction and many other genres.
However, there are an even greater number of books I haven't read, and I am totally open to reading those as well!
For this poll, simply comment a book you have read that you liked, or that you want me to review.
Feel free to add your thoughts about the book (did you like it? how did it make you feel?) but don't spoil the ending! Nobody likes spoilers :)
I'll also post a few of my own comments on books. (Feel free to post multiple comments for multiple books). The most upvoted / most popular comment will likely win, and I'll do a review on that book!

I'm not a bookworm or anything however, I really wanna start reading. I'm interested in topics like Entrepreneurship and Life Experience, do you have any recommendations? :D Thanks!
That's a great decision. Even if you can't sit down and pick up a book, audiobooks work great if you weave them into your day-to-day routine (e.g. driving to work, taking a break).
As for entrepreneurship, I liked the book "The Upstarts" by Brad Stone. Though I'm not specifically attracted to entrepreneurship books, I liked this one for telling nice stories about companies and startups I recognize in my life.
For Life Experience, I loved "When Breath Becomes Air" by Paul Kalanithi— it's an amazing and heartbreaking book of how the author (a neurosurgeon) gets diagnosed with cancer. It's a pretty enchanting book, and it's a bit sad towards the end, but I think you'll get a very moving experience from reading it.

STOPHello @bookreview ! There are so many books that could be suggested for you to read and review, since nobody has proposed anything yet I went into my office this morning and picked a few interesting and random titles for you. It would be awesome also if you reviewed some of your personnal favorite reads in different genres, it would give us a bit of a feel of what styles you enjoy!
For the first book I chose: The fountainhead, by Ayn Rand ( written in 1943, it is still to this day a tought provoking and relevant read. To simply call it a novel, american litterature would be unrepresentative.)
number 2: Collapse, how societies choose to fail or succeed, by Jared Diamond ( A great book that examines the history of past civilisations and the reasons that caused their downfall. In this well researched and beautifully constructed journey through human history, we are then brought to reflect on our modern day behavior... In itself, the book could be the subject of many posts.
3rd proposed read: The devil's day, by James Blish ( A short(200pages) but enthralling piece of fiction, a story of sorcery and witchcraft, I won't tell you more...)

If you do a lot of book reviews I recommend that you sign up for Amazon affiliates. You can then put a link to the book on Amazon and earn a small commission. Book commissions are very low about .25 cents to $1.00 USD. I have some posts that talk about that. Hope this helps.
I am a newbie here and like the great feeling of community that I see here on Steemit.
I write a lot about how powerful one's mindset can be. I also talk about different ways to make money online as an entrepreneur.
