Daily Dose of Sultnpapper 04/28/18> I guess this is a Saturday Shout Out… it wasn’t intended to be… but shout happens , like trying to put this as an entry in comedyopenmic Round 11.
I think I might have run the little the lady into the ground, or at least helped. I have said numerous times, in the time I have been on steemit, that I’m not a big fan of the bots. Each time I let that out it seems that I stumble across a new bot and end up giving it a good look, kick the tires on it, read the reviews and then normally walk away and say “no thanks”.
I’m not sure why that really is either, it isn’t that I am afraid of technology; I invested in the internet long before most of the people on here were even born and laptops hadn’t even been invented yet. That was back in the last century, the 80’s to be exact, when $500 got you 12,500 shares of a company called America On Line, or what would later be known as AOL.
You may or may not have heard of those crooked bastards, lots of people made fortunes on that company just not me, “not me” meaning not made the fortune. They were a bunch of thieves who got us initial investors money, then bankrupted the company, moved the offices to another state and launched again with new stock and everything. But I’m not going to go into all that old stuff, water under the bridge so to speak.
The little lady I’m talking about is the one known as “Gina” , as in Ginabot. I guess we have just been flat running her into the ground on this platform. I noticed on Friday morning that she was running about 5 hours behind on keeping me up to speed with what was happening in my life here on steemit. If any of you know where about the Energizer Bunny hangs out get over there and tell him to get his little furry ass over to Gina’s place and give her boost, it is obvious her batteries are running out of juice.
Today is “Shout Out Saturday” I’ve been told, well I got news for you; I don’t wait to shout. If I have something to say I’m gonna say it whether it is Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday; it doesn’t make any difference to me. I was doing a little shouting on Friday in my Daily Dose, I didn’t name names but I wasn’t shouting anything pleasant either so the names were left out intentionally.
I will give a pleasant shout out to my good friend @buttcoins and his lovely family that have been keeping me entertained here on steemit while they are on an extended vacation over in Thailand. He is one truly nice guy and his wife and kids are just all precious, he is a lucky man I tell you, very lucky. Not many people have gold coins shoot out their ass, but the Butt does. Stop by his Vlog and check out him and the family.
I also need to give a shout out to the good folks over at @spl , that would be the Steem Poker League, and to the guy that goes by @oendertuerk , who kicked my ass at the final table so I ended up finishing in second place. If you like poker and have a REP over 35 and are a stand up member of the steemit platform there is a good chance you can sign up over at SPL, get approved and them come kick my ass like everyone else. Just remember don’t bring a knife to a gun fight.
I just checked on my lady friend bot Gina, at this moment she is only running a couple hours behind now, I never have noticed before Friday that she had been running behind, is that common with her? Have I just been missing her being slow? I would look at replacing her but she’d probably file suit against me for bot gender discrimination, and with my luck the jury would all be lesbian and transgender bots so I wouldn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of winning that law suit.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention one other person in this unofficial Saturday Shout Out that I guess I have gotten myself into and that would be @moderndayhippie , he is a genuinely good guy who recently had dream turn into a real nightmare. He’s on the rebound from it and I was pleased to see him back on here on Friday making his rounds commenting on some posts. My hat goes off to him for chasing his dream, it didn’t work out this last time but at least he had the balls to give it a shot. So welcome back friend, don’t be a stranger over in @thesteemengine a bunch of us have your back there.
One last thing and I’ll turn you loose, so you can get on with your day, I found this thing called @steembasicincome , I not going to go in to all the details but I like the concept and so I have been sponsoring some people into it, being sponsored in is the only way you can get it or by sponsoring someone in. Look, if the old America Online stock scam before the run-up of AOL was akin to BitConnect of today's crypto world, then surely Steem slow and steady rise will be like the Amazon burst up in 2000, quick descent to almost nothing, and then long climb taking almost two decades to become the prominent world's number 1 online business behemoth!

Just put " Round 11 " somewhere in your title so if someone tries to plagiarize your entry we can say where they got it from. Also helps this weeks judges so they don't get confuse with >100 entries it can get a little overwhelming.
I didn't realize you folks were all contests, I just thought it was a place to drop a little humor every now and then. I just changed my tag to "comedynotopenmic" to get your guard dogs and janitors off my butt. I'm not a big contest guy, I don't work well with rules. If I do change my mind, where might I find the rules, are they in your discord channel or do I just dig through the blog to find them?

Rules are normally so limiting and on here the "normal" contest folks want you to up vote , resteem , stand on one leg and take a selfie while drinking a latte. Just to get a faction a $2.00 SBD payout from the post.
I ran a photo contest back on April Fools Day, it had three rules. A deadline for entries, one entry per user name, and the photo had to be of sign. None of that other BS, and the it gave $20 Steem to the three winners with the breakdown of $10, $6, and $4 ... then I also added some more all told it came up to about $30 Steem when it was all said and done. That is how I think rules should be, the fewer the better, your rules seem fair enough, thanks for guiding me along.

Only thing we really ask is these 2 things:

Well if that is all the rules, then I think I can follow those, no fine print anywhere from what I can see. I will keep that in mind but I think I'll just leave this one as it is right now with the tag removed and not have it as an entry or I may just re title it and copy and paste in a completely new post and let steemcleaners chase me around on it,... decisions,... decisions... damn.
i would suggest just changing it back and add Round 11 to your tile, it's way easier, but then again I'm lazy af, I just figure folks enjoy convenience like I do...hahah

I don't recognize you as some one who has been reading my daily dose in the past @wakeupkitty and if I'm correct on that then I can see the reason you would be asking. Most people will tell you it takes a while to figure me out so if you feel lost your not alone on things I write,
This is just really to let people know I've been trying to adapt to some bots and to give a "shout out" to some folks I enjoy here on the platform. I guy named @crazybgadventures came up with "Shout Out Saturdays" where you say some good things about people you interact with here on steemit, you may want to look him up and get the complete description.
I'd be happy to answer any specific questions, but that is the general overview, when I started the post I didn't intend to make it a shout out post, but I sometimes get sidetracked easily.

No problem @wakeupkitty, if someone takes the time to read and comment I will do my best to give them what they are in search of if I can. I write a piece that I call the "Daily Dose of Sultnpapper" it mainly just my perspective on life now, some government and law, some family things, a lot of humor and sarcasm, but all genuine. Some please come back and get dose every now and then, I will venture by and look you over as well.

Oh yes, when you start getting old things just spring up like they use too, memory isn't the best anymore. Not that it was all that good to begin with. I played a lot of pranks on that milkman, he threaten to cut out our home delivery for us the time I put a live snake in the milk box where he left the glass bottles of milk.
