The case of Alfie and totalitarian rule of the UK government.

I am not going into the medical aspects of this, but the issues surrounding it.

Taken to hospital, little Alfie was put on a life support machine.

A few weeks after this happened, the judges ruled they stop treatment, and turn off the life support machine -and at the same time, refuse the parents the option to appeal the decision.

The European court of human rights would not intervene.

He (Alfie) has been given Italian citizenship , so that the parents could take him to Italy for further treatment.

The UK courts refused to allow this this as an option - saying it was better for the child to die.

What the hell is going on, when the courts can decide for parents to take their child for treatment to another place than the one they are presently in?

This is government taking control of your children, and they want to have the power of life an death over them.
Understandably there has been outrage, and lots of complaints about this situation to the Liverpool hospital, and the treatment given.

Merseyside police (Liverpool) have responded to the social media attacks on the hospital and it's treatment of a baby - by threatening the social media users with possible legal action if they continue to protest.

Seriously.

Over the last couple of years in Scotland, there has been an attempt for 'a named persons' scheme.
This is a statistic strategy where strangers ( state employees) have control and influence over other people's children from the time of birth, until 18 years old.
They actually said at one point ' parent do have a role in bringing up a child'.
Not the role as primary care giver, but just 'a role'.

Sometime you just gotta to ask yourself ...if not, WHY NOT?
