So yesterday (the day after I got my soft cast off) was my brothers cast off!

After solo traveling Europe, Lucca (my brother) met up with the @gardenofeden team; @quinneaker, @everlove, and @saramiller for SteemFest2 and then traveled more together through Portugal and Spain before they all came to visit my parents and me in Florida! Lucca only has a couple more months left to travel, but stayed with the family about a month to help me recover after the surgery! By the time he finished opening all the coconuts we had left (from before the surgery) for me to drink and heal (since no one else really could),  I had exponentially healed! I healed much faster than expected, allowing me to be far more mobile and capable than the doctors made it sound I would be...! This allowed Lucca an "early" departure! He recently landed in L.A. and is visiting more family there before heading off to Australia! 💓

I even opened the first 6 coconuts on the 3rd day after surgery! 😜  Probably because I stopped taking the pharmaceutical drugs asap! I can't believe I even took any at all for that matter! I was so unconscious for the first 2 days after I woke up with my jaw shivering intensively after the anesthesia, they got me scared of the pain somehow that I just kept taking painkillers thinking I needed them... for no reason.  As soon as the anesthesia started wearing off/detoxing (about 2 days after the surgery), I finally realized what I was doing and stopped! It was A LOT less painful than they made it sound! Probably also because I wasn't trying to walk (and run/cartwheel/hike/climb) on my freshly operated ankle as I did when it was freshly broken, haha. 😂 Live and learn hey! Hahaha. It probably also helped a lot that I was eating raw vegan with intermittent fasting, while drinking chaga turmeric ginger tea, and coconut water, in order to reduce inflammation and thin the blood!

While Lucca was here he managed to sustainably retrieve hundreds of pounds of all varieties of crystals from someone that had no value for them! So our entire house and my room have been infested with kinds and sizes of beautiful polished and raw crystals! Including petrified tree! 💗 

(Although I am more mobile I still rather focus all my energy towards healing... so perhaps later I'll be able to take more time to photograph all the crystals I'm referring too! Hehe!).

On top of that he helped me make create a trial comfrey poultice with some comfrey powder I had stored! We mixed it with coconut oil (with minimal traces of other essential oils like tea tree, lavender, and eucalyptus!) Then we added even more essential oils, several mints, more eucalyptus, and more lavender! After we put some manuka honey and more comfrey tincture!

Before he helped me create this poultice I was applying direct comfrey tincture, but I feel like the poultice is far more absorbable since I can wrap it on for hours until it's all totally absorbed! I can even use the wrap inside the boot!

This inspired me to create another medicine/salve that my cousin gave me the idea for which is made of; coconut oil, turmeric, ginger, mustard seed, black pepper, and manuka honey! I've been consuming and oil pulling with this as well as mixing a tiny bit on the poultice!

On the left is the poultice, on the bottom right is the salve, and on top of it is a CBD salve I was gifted from a friend!  I had another friend gift me bags (I wish I took pictures) of fresh home-grown garden greens, fresh moringa, mini sour oranges, and gorgeous ghost(?) (super spicy) peppers too! In exchange for a dragon fruit pod/branch to transplant and add to her garden and a glass of coconut water!

This is where they took the soft bone from my hip to fill the hole in my ankle after removing all the shattered fragments... the hole was a lot bigger than I thought and that what it looked like in the radiography scans! I had been putting comfrey tincture on it every day to help regenerate! This picture was with residues of the poultice, and later I put a slightly bigger blob of poultice and the healing that occurred within not even 6 hours was unbelievable!

I wish I had photographed the incisions on my ankle before the comfrey, though I will now for my next healing update post! As I replace the current poultice and get ready for some divinely healing sleep!
