A visit to Amsterdam

For those who have been following me already know i'm from the netherlands. I recently went on holiday with my girlfriend to our capital Amsterdam. We stayed there for a couple of nights and did some shoping and also visited a musuem. Stedelijk musuem we call it in the netherlands.  It mostly is modern art and you really have to be in to that to like it. My girlfriend dragged me here but it was quite nice and thought to make a post about it!

Urban musuem (stedelijk musuem)

This is the outside of the urban musuem. Its a huge building with some beautifull architecture. I was walking towards it and thought to myself this is art already. For anyone wondering it on ''musuem plein" if you wanna go there. Just next to the '" Rijksmusuem"  with "De nachtwacht"displayed here. Moving to see inside the musuem!

Most of the musuem hallways looked like this. On some of them you could draw something, but there was almost no free space left. Nothing special displayed here just to give a image of the architecture. 

Alot of the art looked like this. Just normal pictures but you could tell the story here. You could see a couple getting married have their last night out. Their life story was displayed here in pictures. A different kind of art then normal i would say.

This is me with a random painting. Trying to be funny and have the lips between my fingers. First try i wasn't far off! I was mostly doing stupid things like this to make it less boring, because some of the art didn't make any sense to my. Like a fully black painting was art here. I just wasn't creative enough my girlfriend told me...

I kinda liked this throughout the musuem there were writtings on the wall like this. Some had a whole story behind them, but i obviously took a picture of one counting to 40...

I had a really fun day at this musuem even if i didn't quite get all the art. The best pictures from that day are displayed here. Art is for creative people and modern art for sure. You have to like the concept behind it. Also you have to see the art around you, because its everywhere. It isn't only art when its displayed behind glass anything can be art!

First purchase!

The last thing i want to share with you in this post is my purchase in Amsterdam. I am a poor student but i made some money with cryptocurrency and steem. Finally i could buy something real with it. My decision was to buy a great watch, because i just love a beautifull watch. It is something like a status symbol right?
