Monochrome Monday - Old 1899 Steam Locomotive

These are some old photos I took back in January, 2000. This old steem steam locomotive was built in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1899 and remained in service until 1963. It was was restored in the 1980s for use at the Strathspey Railway in the Scottish Highlands. It was withdrawn again in 2000, shortly after I took these photos. Since then it has had a couple of major overhauls and most recently put back on the rails in March 2017.

The photos were taken at Boat of Garten railway station.
