Bitfury Group have found a way to destroy Bitcoin’s anonymity
The developers of Bitfury Group have found a new method of associating different wallets of the same Bitcoin customers for law enforcement agencies.
Employees of Bitfury Group propose to combine the addresses of the cryptocurrency wallets associated with one user into clusters. As stated in the announcement of the company, the new solution "will help to identify the relationship between addresses of Bitcoin wallets, which will minimize errors in data and provide increased accuracy in determining the affiliation of such addresses in criminal investigations."
The developers said:
“In addition, this solution will help end users to protect their privacy.”
It’s said in the text of the press-release that new tool allows to stop anonymizing transactions in Bitcoins, or at least identify all the wallets of the same user.
Today the Bitcoin price went down to $14,859.
