Forecasting on Wings, Let It Play
Wings has a new project to forecast called the Let It Play.
Let It Play is the audio layer of the internet. It’s creating a decentralized ecosystem in which any content creator can create, distribute, and commercialize their audio content.
According to Let It Play there’s a crisis of visual perception. YouTube, TV, facebook, video games and more are all taxing our sight. Audio is the new point of growth in the future for content consumption.
Plus, much of the content out there, like news, blogs, books, and articles can be heard rather than seen.
What’s needed is a monetization platform to encourage growth. And that’s what Let It Play is doing.
Let It Play implements the attention economy. Content providers can earn PLAY tokens based on attention received.
Advertisers will buy PLAY to advertise to consumers directly. And Consumers will earn PLAY for consuming ads.
Per Let It Play it already has a working minimum viable product with over 100 content providers and over 2,000 audio tracks.
Plus it has apps already for both Android and iOS.
For the sale PLAY is an ERC20 token but it will eventually be converted over to the EOS ecosystem.
The forecast is for stage 1 of the token sale with a 10,000 ETH hard cap. At 1 ETH per 10,000 PLAY that’s 100 million PLAY. Total supply is 1 billion. There will be a second stage in the Fall of 2018.
It looks like the crowd doesn’t think Let It Play will reach the hard cap as the average and median forecast is 3,000 ETH. I did not forecast this one.
