Is the Baltika 9 beer I had in Kyrgyzstan as great as I remember?
So there I was 6 months dry when I landed in the awesome country of Kyrgyzstan. I remember having my first taste of this delicious brew. I loved it! It had a nice bite but it went down smooth and had a nice aftertaste. My buddies and I had quite a few and I remember saying that I would drink these all the time if I could.
That was 5 years ago and I have not had one since. Not a big seller in the US. I looked for it years ago but could not find it anywhere. Now I wonder if the beer was really as good as I remember? Or was it a combination of being in an awesome foreign country, not having a beer in 6 months and just enjoying life with friends?
Has anyone else had this beer before? Did you like it? Is it as good as I remember or is my mind playing tricks on me? lol
