Balkano survivor pt11: The Plant

in #balkanos8 years ago

A plant is the matter of nature.

Maybe you think that plants are result of evolution or creation of God, but plants belong to us, just like we belong to plants. Humans can improve plants, but humans can't create plants from nothing. That's why no plant should be illegal. In my country, like in any other countries on Balkans Peninsula, some natural plants are illegal. I don't think that's fair to Mother Nature.

I am a friend with a guy who spent 6 months in prison because of possession of 1 gram of cannabis.

If you ever come to Croatia and you successfully managed to bring some weed with you, I suggest you to choose your spot carefully.

Do not run in any kind of unfinished buildings to smoke and do not smoke in the street corners! You don't know from which side can police show up. No place to run, no place to hide. You can't see who is coming until it's too late.

I would rather choose to smoke on the opened spot. On the place from where you can see all. Empty city square or a park without much trees. A transparent place and you should see everyone who is coming.

If you weren't careful enough, and noticed police too late with a burning joint in your hand - eat it! That's the best thing that you can do in that moment. Eat the evidence.

If you came in Croatia without any weed and you want to smoke, do not ask any random person how to get some.

You have to recognize who is right person for that and how to approach that person. If you are experienced in the game, this part won't be so hard for you. Don't get late, don't get too early.

Few tricks are same everywhere in the world.

Slow motion.

Try not to carry weed in your pockets. It's a little bit safer in a sock, but the safest is in your boxers. If you get caught and if you give any information to police, then you are true pussy and don't deserve to live but I'll just tell you one thing: run to the opposite side of the planet and never come here again.

I do not encourage anyone to smoke weed or to brake the law. Cannabis is not for everyone, it comes with a large responsibility.

Yup, definitely best to get to know people before you do such business. I don't know about Croatia but the police in Bulgaria seem to be backing off a bit the last few years, you can smell it somewhere most days in the big central park. But you must be careful. The most likely way to trouble is from scuttlebutt on the streets. And bad suburbs like Levski in Sofia.

One plus with the old communist architecture is those giant parks, it is easy to be hidden. Technically in BG it is illegal to drink there. But the police pretty much don't bother unless you also are causing shit.

Going into building sites is a very bad idea. Security because of gypsies is pretty effective. They will hand you over to the cops happily.

When I was in prison I met one guy who didn't even have any weed and the charge said zero grams. IDK if it was true but you can't calculate why a balkans cop might decide to give you problems. Best to avoid them. But it isn't much more dangerous than Australia for example.

here you have few cops who are OK, but most of them are assholes. You are right about large parks. You can see from the distance when someone is approaching. They actually put the weed on the scale together with tobacco and then, you're fucked
