Boring but: RARE and NEVER to be photographed again: Views from the Roseville Bridge. Sydney, Australia. Part 1. Original Photography.

NEVER
Ever ever again
Will the Roseville Bridge
Tempt me to walk her non-existent
Footpath. With the silly notion of capturing
Interesting photographs for my Steemit friends and Posterity.
~Ally.

The Behind the Scenes of our photographs can sometimes be far more arresting than the photographs themselves. Capturing impressions of the Roseville Bridge on the morning of Easter Monday, early in April, was certainly one of those most memorable times for me.

The Warringah Freeway approaching the Roseville Bridge.

This view from the Roseville Bridge could ONLY be taken: Standing in a leaf, plastic and paper littered gutter, just wide enough to walk along ~ On the very edge of the Warringah Freeway ~ And only then, when there was an occasional gap in the onslaught of traffic.

The Pipe Bridge: Viewed from the Roseville Bridge.

In the article Underneath the arches of the Roseville Bridge, I took you along the Two Creeks Track that leads down to the mangroved shoreline of Roseville Chase and then under the arches of the Roseville Bridge.

TO BE CONTINUED

Most, if not all photographs you will see of the Roseville Bridge have been taken from somewhere along the shoreline, like the one above. I have yet to see any images, boring as they may be, like The Pipe Bridge: Viewed from the Roseville Bridge and the others I will share in my next article.

ALSO: Recently with the help of the Deep Dream Generator, I've been applying a touch of the old world charm of Frederick McCubbin, one of our Australian Impressionist Artists to some of these images of the Roseville Bridge.

I'll see you again soon ~ Brush/Bush Turkey permitting.

This was the second time that the Roseville Bridge has found a place on the Steemit World Map. Thanks so much @steemitworldmap.

Heeeey :)
How are you? Long time no see :)

Really well. I've been away far longer than I expected though @psywalker.

Good to be here again. But I pressed the Post button by mistake as I need to finish the article still ~ Which wasn't really the article I intended to share in the first place. But, as they say: The Universe works in mysterious ways. And I'm learning to Go with her flow more and more every day.

These images are far from boring SiStar <333 They are BeautyFull!!! So glad to see you here and sharing again :) Have missed ya. Much Love!

Have been missing you too @thereikiforest ~ I honestly didn't think I would be away for this long.

Often when I need to learn something new, it seems that I become totally immersed in it until I can start to grasp it. And in the process of working/playing with the Deep Dream Generator, I feel that my way of seeing imagery has shifted. Hope to elaborate a bit more in my following articles.

I'm SO pleased you can see the beauty in these images now. The many inlets of the harbour of Sydney are beautiful places to be, to walk the bush trails or to just sit and reflect. I sometimes feel I'm only starting to explore my own 'backyard.' When you come to Oz, I'll have plenty of places to take you.

The DDG has given me the chance to explore the unexpected in colour and design. And Steemit will give me the chance to share what I've learned ~ And hopefully, as usually happens new ideas come with the energy that flows into words. Talk again soon. 💖🙏💖

I admire your ability to go deeply into the zone of learning & mastery @allyinspirit. I am slowly teaching myself to apply this method. I have a tendancy to dance around things & dabble with them until I feel a certain level of comfort...then I am able to go all in.

Looking forward to it SiStar :) <333

Me, too. They are absoulutely beautyfull AIly. I am thankful to get glimpses of the Magic of Oz through your images and look foward to being able to visit one day, hopefully in the not too far distant future.

Right On SiStar. You have inpsired me to start dabbling a bit with DDG and so far I am really injoying it. Thank you much as always. Sending lots of Reiki Love & Bright Blessings Your Way. Talk with you again soon.

Namaste

FANTATIC @thereikiforest. It would be wonderful to share some of the magic of Oz with you. So many places I have yet to explore her too and would be amazing to share them with you.

I hope the DDG doesn't mesmerize you too much though 😊 as it certainly was one of the factors in my being drawn away from Steemit for the past few months. But as another creative 'tool' it can be incredibly stimulating.

Depending on the settings of your Style, an image can be enhanced very subtly or become over the top psychedelic. It can also be a lot of trial and error until you generate one that makes your heart REALLY sing. And the more you play with it, the easier it becomes to match your original images with a 'Style.'

That's wonderful @lightingmacsteem. You have been VERY busy too.

I can't believe I've been away from Steemit for 6 months now. But I have started to catch up with a few people over the past week or so and it feels wonderful to be here again. I see you are posting again now too, so will stay in touch again. 🙏

Too funny 🤔... but interesting photos!

Funny and scary all at the same time Melinda. I'll share the whole story soon. I'd been on the bridge for about an hour and had just about reached the far end, when I saw a police car approaching ~ Everything went into slow motion, as the car slowed down.

And I was wondering if I'd be arrested for unlawfully walking on the bridge ~ And 'Ally's voice' was saying: I could have told you so!' 😊

I was in luck though. After asking me why I was there, and seeing my camera, the two policemen were really good natured and surprisingly allowed me to continue. But by this stage, I'd really had more than enough of being blasted by cars ~ And buses ~ And just wanted to be on safer ground.

My only regret was that I didn't ask them if I could take their photograph. 😊

Hahaha! The things we do just to get a photo! Glad you were not arrested....wonder how good Steem is at helping raise money for getting photographers out of jail? 😂😂😂

😊 They won't let you take cameras (even phones) on the usual walk to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. So scaling Sydney Harbour Bridge before dawn is next. Just kidding Melinda. 😊

I wonder. Not that I would expect anyone to bail me out ~ But you know, if you were ever in a 'real pickle' and had to turn to your friends on any of the Social Media platforms, I think you would have more chance of being helped by your friends at Steemit than anywhere else.

But imagine what it would be like to climb Sydney Harbour Bridge? This is the view from the top. 💖

Wait! If you can't take a camera how did you get that photo? Did you really go to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge? Holy cow. But no sneaking up there at night, ok? And I think you are right if you ever did need help I think your steemit friends would be some that you could count on.

😊 I should have added ~ 'This photograph was taken by a professional photographer for Bridge Climb Sydney.

I promise you I won't be attempting to climb it at night ~ A feral climber would definitely be prosecuted ~ And they would be caught for sure as there is so much security there. But my mind does love to play with the idea of 'What if?' 😊

Here's another one for you Melinda: From the Bridge Climb Sydney website. After looking at the website, I'm inspired to do it, even without a camera, just for the experience ~ Although it's frightfully expensive.

What an adventure that would be! If you are able and can afford it I would definitely cheer you on! That's something you'd be able to tell your grandchildren! My grandkids love hearing stories of some of my Adventures. They see me as a little old lady, and it gives them a totally different perspective of me as a person when they hear some of the places I've been in some of the things I have done. Go do it!

I think I'll have to Melinda. Will have to start training for all those steps. Would be a 'killer' otherwise. 😊

I can imagine you telling your real life adventure tales to your grandkids ~ And them getting more and more exciting as time recreates and embellishes them. 🌀

Hi @allyinspirit, I'm @checky ! While checking the mentions made in this post I found out that @jellybeanjoey, @dwp, @ashlota and @brooklynbob don't exist on Steem. Maybe you made some typos ?

Hi @checky. No, not a typo. @jellybeanjoey, @dwp, @ashlota and @brooklynbob are some of my Deep Dreaming friends.

It's too long a story to explain how they happened to be mentioned in this particular article and I guess I'll have to explain who they are, all over again to you when I include them in a following article?

@allyinspirit, sorry to see you have less Steem Power.
