Peace is the first condition, without which nothing else can be stable.
Today 'm feeling extra peaceful n energetic as I have had the wonderful opportunity to visit ashrams and spend a few hours there. Near my house there was an opening of ashram(place where a Hindu holy man lives). I visited there, enhancing my sense of happiness and wellness.
This is the entrance of ashram decorated with flowers and balloon. There was so crowd. The crowd there is generally very open, outgoing and easy to talk but i was unable to took perfect picture. Many persons came to take blessings from guru ji .
This is picture is taken from far, as i was not allowed to take closeup of guru ji but anyways just have a look everybody enjyoing the speech given by guru ji. I must say that if anybody looking for a stress-free environment away from daily chaotic life, to spend some time on inner reflection then an ashram is the best place to go.
Everybody in white kurta pajama are the free volunteer, who are managing all the crowd. Their portion of day will be devoted to being of service to others at the ashram. Even volunteers are helping in the kitchen with washing dishes and general clean-up. This ashram are run with the help of unpaid volunteers, Most ashrams are run with the help of unpaid volunteers, some who live at the ashram on a permanent basis and others who are doing a short period of service.

Well @shadonchandra, submitting or not submitting your thinking to a Guru or anyone is always in your control. Guruji can't control your thinking unless you allow him to do so. He only suggests what he knows or thinks is a better alproach to life. To assimilate or not to assimilate that is always your choice ...i.e. in your control.
firstly thankyou to b prt of your favourite list....
everybody have different perceptions related to religion....
although i like your point 2... i also don't believe in guru ji n ol... it was just an opening of new ashram ... i visited there, i felt peace n happiness....
again thankyou for your valuable comment....
