I installed the handle on the cover successfully! I also stitched the cover to the back of the satchel but I haven't take the picture.
One last step, stitch the back to the body of the satchel.

Fabulous finishes, wow! I am envious, I have tools from more that 30 years ago and no machinery so my finish is lacking somewhat!
90% of reason because of the good quality leather. I only share the rest of 10%.
To get nice shinny edges and clean back. I use this Carboxymethyl Cellulose (cmc), made in Japan. But you gonna try different brands and see which brand you like. I tried something from Hong Kong, it is too sticky, from Taiwan, it is too watery.
