Anime Art #1 : Mystic Messenger Yoosung (Original)
Hi all! Here is a drawing I made of a character called Yoosung from a popular mobile otome game called "Mystic Messenger." He is a boy you can potentially woo and date.
Materials
- Mechanical Pencil
- Staedtler Eraser
- LePen Drawing Pen 0.5
- Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen Black 199
- Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen White 101
The Process
In the beginning, I like to use a normal mechanical pencil to sketch things out. Everything is rough. I start to ink on top of my sketch !
I go through the rest of my character, adding a little bit of shades on clothing lines and highlights on the hair. I start to make some random shapes and doodles in the background to give it more flavor.
I finally put in the rest of the background and add credits to me! :)

This looks great ☺i remember when this app was everywhere. There was a long period of time where i couldn't open my instagram without getting tons of mystic messenger art and memes. I never got around to play the game myself though. Anyways keep up the good work 😊
Hahaha! I was in the same boat! My friend actually unlocked all good and bad endings for the game now. I'm not sure how but I commend her dedication. 😂 Please let me know if you ever do pick it up! Curious to know who your favorite character would be. :)Also thank you for your kind words ♡

Oh yay! I'm so glad to have found another MM fan!! Yoosung is definitely cute, although too much of a Rika complex... >_> Haha

His "Rika-complex" was indeed annoying, that I wanted to end up with a bad ending... but it was the only game I played with real cash.. haha xD So, I tried to get all the good endings in one go. :)
