Steemit has a large community of artists in visual arts. 

I would ask them to donate an artwork for an auction the income from which will go to the fund created to help steemians to take part to the next Steemfest in Lisbon. 

The account that receives this donations is @t-r-f, created for this purpose by SteemFest organization

The auction will be organized and managed by me. The income, deducted the shipping costs, will be sent to Steemfest organization, using the @t-r-f account to help people to pay travel and hotel for the Steemfest. It will be up to the Steemfest organizers to give the money to users who need it.

How it works

Artists will offer an artwork for free. Please, show in the comments to this post the artwork you are going to offer for free.

All the artworks offered before June 30, Friday, will be showed in a post where the auction will take place. 

The bids are to be done in the comments of that post, whitin a few days

When the auction is closed, the winners will be announced. The winners will have to transfer the amount of steem of their winning bid to my account - with a memo showing the reason. I'll post the screenshots of the payment for further transparence (everything is visible anyway in the public wallet).

After that, each artist will receive the address to send his artwork to (the winners have to communicate their address privately, to a mail or in private messages) and the amount of steem to pay the shipping.

If the a winning bid is lower than the shipping cost to send him the artwork, the win is canceled and the winner will be refunded.

If the winner doesn't receive the artwork but the artist can prove he sent it, the winner will not be refunded. He will be refunded if the artist can't show the receip of the shipping.

If there will be enough artworks to be auctioned, the auction will be in more than one session.
