Vagabonds - interactive Paintings S2 - Quarterfinal 2: Monica vs. Zilong

The Vagabonds is an interactive game here on steemit, based on my original paintings. In the first phase, I presented 8 characters, and you, yes, you determined their unique Name, their positive as well as their negative trait and their unique weapon/artefact/superpower.

Now we're pitching these 8 fictional Vagabonds in fictional one-on-one contests/games/battles, ... also chosen by you! (You can still suggest games/contests/battles as a comment in this post and I'm letting the dice choose randomly for every match - we do have some great suggestions! Thanks already for that! The outcome of the fictional contest is also interactive: I present the characters and the contest, and you can comment on how you see this particular contest turn out, and who wins in your scenario. A winner will be chosen and will move on to the Semi-Final, until we have our Grand Vagabond Winner!

But before we move on to the second Quarter-Final, the first QF must be resolved!

It was Sidekick Shelly vs Vampire Hunter Eloise in a good old-fashioned Frantic Fencing Match

• I received a great entry by @deemarshall - in her story she describes a really crazy fencing-match with Tired Shelly falling asleep, but only after she has poisoned (with her hairpin) Everlasting Eloise. Leaving her story in a perfect Vagabond-style open-ended mystery. Thanks!
• There were three, say suggestions, by @junsusukhairi, @lintah and @sudong on who should win it, but without really telling a story, nor giving compelling reasons why one character should win or lose. It's a bit like saying "Yeah, Manchester United won vs Barcelona. Why? Coz Man U has better players, baz".
• I wasn't sure on how I would judge a winner, because this is new territory for me. But the entry that took my doubts away had it all! @fraenk's comment combined all unique superpowers thought up by all the players for both characters, describing a dazzling, memorable, ultra-fantastic sooper-dooper confrontation with plot-twist after plot twist. Even a little lay-outing was done for the comment. Read the comment here and enjoy! And after that, feel free to upvote it 100% - in my mind, it is already legendary, and this is just the first QF!

In a Match of Paintball!

Ok, picture this: Neighbourly but Predictive Duchess Monica and Courageous but Lovesick Samurai Zilong go into a match of Paintball. Monica has a magical Sceptre, Zilong a Magical Spear. How will this go, how will this end? Who has the better weapon in a game of Paintball, who has the advantage, who the disadvantage? Anything is possible!

Make a comment on how this contest would/could be victorious for one and a terrible defeat for the other. Try to take in account all aspects of the characters - positive and negative traits, and their superpowers. It may be short, it may be extensive, but it should be original.

One entry will win - and it will very likely be the awesomest, best written, cleverly concocted story. I'm not sure, in case of a tie, number of votes may matter, or the dice will do their thing. But this is where you can shine! The winning Vagabond will advance to the Semi-Final where he or she will meet another Vagabond in a new challenge.
