RE: Vagabonds - interactive Paintings S2 - Quarterfinal 2: Monica vs. Zilong

in #art6 years ago

There's no way I can beat @fraenk's story for the previous round, so this rather lame account will have to do:(:

Despite —or maybe thanks to— her neighbourly looks, as soon as Duchess Monica stepped in the ring, Samurai Zilong was stricken by a bout of lovesickness. With all the courage he could gather he grabbed his Magical Spear to ward off her dazzling looks and without hesitation he shot his paintball. Duchess Monica, not too impressed by the Samurai's display of aggressive manliness, had no problem dodging the paintball with her magical Sceptre in hand. In an utterly predictive turn of events she fired her paintball and hit Samurai Zilong in the nether regions. And thus after just a few moments in this momentous battle, Duchess Monica surfaced victorious.

hmmmm, after re-reading this there are a few double entendres in this story - that wasn't my initial intention but hopefully makes it more fun to read :)

ok... so after googling "double entendre" I went and re-read the comment.

hahaha... brilliant... I chuckled all the way to the end.

I'm intrigued by how memory or the thinking process in general works; "double entendre" is by no means part of my daily vocabulary yet that popped up in my head as I was writing this. I even had to look it up myself to verify that it meant what I suspected it meant...

Nice! I suspected risqué was along similar lines, we're learning French on the fly here :D

hehe yes bien sûr!

Nice! Great story with all the adjectives and double entendres (that Magical Spear in the hands of a lovesick guy was always going to be risqué!) Thanks!

Close fought but decisive! Well done. It is fun to read :)

Thanks!
Samurai Zilong's shot was a bit premature so the fight didn't last long :)
