Interactive Paintings: The Vagabonds #5
This is the fifth painting and episode of my little interactive game of "The Vagabonds" -
the originals are small paintings (13x18cm), oils on panel, and in this game here on steemit, you can decide on the name of this character, randomly choose an adjective, a profession and an origin of the character, and then choose a relationship of this character to the next one! It's chaotic, weird and fun!
But first: thank you @fraenk, @pv-p, @deemarshall, @skippyza, @mellwe, @mahmuliadi and @lintah for entering the game of _Vagabonds #4! Seven entries was again a new record for this game, and there were some really weird combinations made! I had fun, hope you all had too!
Now then, then now - a recap of where we are with these little weirdos:
From game 1, this is Salt, the Cheerful Globetrotter from The Black Lagoon (entry by @deemarshall):
He's the Son of Mabel, the Clumsy Chaperone from The Land of Make Believe (episode 2, entry by @hazel420):
Mabel is the Niece of Arlington, the Awesome Alchemist of the Irish Pub (episode 3, entry by @w0olf):
Arlington is the Sexual Affair of Angel, the Shy Sorceress of Liechtenstein (Episode 4, entry by @mahmuliadi, congrats! A seven-sided dice chose your entry to be the winning one!):
And Angel is the Professional Advisor or today's character:
Looks like he's in need of some advice, what do you think? Who is this Guy, what's his name and where does he come from? Join the game by making a comment with:
First: a unique first name,
Second: 3 numbers between 1 and 13, which will give you a random adjective, occupation and origin from my ever more expanding list...
And finally: any kind of relationship linking this character to the one of the next episode (coming online on Monday - I try to post a new character every other day, to give you some time to join and to recharge my voting-power as I spend it heavily on these posts. If I don't immediately upvote your comment, it's because I'm recharging and will give you a more lucrative upvote later!).
So as an example of what you can comment to join this game:
Wilhelm, 10-9-8, Gardener
will give (as an example) "This is Wilhelm, the Aloof Sculptor from El Segundo. He's the Gardener of... (to be announced).
Or something completely different, because I just made that up again. The goal here is to create weird and wonderful combinations, that make for unexpected, new and weird ideas and possibilities (love those comments of yours @pv-p!) and above all, to have fun!
There is no "right" choice in numbers, by the way, no combination will get you to "win" this game: one of the comments will be randomly chosen as the "winner" as I can choose only one entry to move the series further - the "winner" won't win anymore than any other player, only the bragging rights, ok? So choose your own numbers, don't choose the numbers somebody else has already chosen.
A comment that follows the game-rules will certainly get an upvote, and a little bit of SBD on the side will follow, just for participating!
Feedback is -as always- appreciated, resteems are too! Pointless or spammy comments will get an ironic, sarcastic or cynical remark, but I seem to get very little of those. Which is good! Let's see some fun entries! Thank you!
Thank to you @marty-art, I can not wait to see and wait for your publication, hopefully everything goes smoothly and go forward again, you have helped me a lot and taught me, your is the best, hopefully the future is better, Sorry, because I being less fluent in English.
Don't feel bummed because your English isn't fluent, I'm not native in English either :)
I don't see how I helped and taught you, though, but I'm confident about the future. Let's have fun here on steemit, my game is just what it is, a game - and it will end with the last painting being presented. Feel free to play again while it lasts, and above all have fun; general smooth-talking will not get you very far on this platform, ok?
Ok fine , thanks for the spirit, and surely I will not miss this post, and I will be the defending champion, Hahaha, I think he needs advice from mark 7-5-3 an Investor, very interesting,
Okay, we have Mark, the Delirious Monk from The Brewery! That actullay makes some sense :) He's the Investor of...(to be announced)
Raging Bull, 13 - 7 - 9, chieftain
He looks like a Red Indian Chief to me.
Good game! Thank you :)
Haha, Raging Bull, the Persnickety Quack from Next Door! He's the Chieftain of... (to be announced!)
Ok... so today I think I am going to call him "Lucius" his numbers of fate are "8-4-2" and he's the "Goatee Groomer" of our next Vagabond.
Goatee Groomer... yeah... goes to show that his Professional Adviser isn't really any good in his own profession to begin with!
I guess from here-on it can only spiral downwards or bounce back hard!
Haha, be careful what you wish for... :D
And I never said they were any good at their professions... maybe Lucius (I like that name, btw) should get rid of his Professional Advisor:
Meet Lucius, the Daydreaming Beachcomber from Skull Island, he's the Goatee Groomer of... (to be announced!) Think you got a cool one there! :)
A Beachcomber and Goatee Groomer... the universe certainly has it's mysterious ways!
I guess it does :D
I guess Lucius is very specialized in what he does, haha
and that, contrary to my initial interpretation does speak for the qualifications of his adviser!
That's why they're The Vagabonds - it's impossible to get a grip on them! I've got just a few more, let's see where they're taking this ultimately...
I think today's character looks like: Byron, 13 12 7, and he is the Music Teacher of...
Nice one: Byron, the persnickety Fortune-Hunter from Tortuga, and he's the Music Teacher of... (to be announced!)
I am still curious about the game you post, and here I will try to guess again rufaidah al-asalmiya 7-3-2 nurse
There's no right or wrong guessing here, just picking numbers, resulting in:
Rufaidah Al-Asalmiya, the Delirious Bishop from Skull Island! He's the Nurse of... (to be announced)!
Thanks @marty-art, the game is getting interesting, I think it is, lesley 11-9-4 good friends,
Cool! Lesley, the Brave Sovereign from Transsylvania! He's Good Friends with (to be announced!)
Ooh another, these are still awesome!
I shall call him Vladimir, the magic numbers are 13-10-4 , and he is the Bust Sculptor of...
Thanks, man! Got a few left :)
Vladimir, the Persnickety Wizard from Transsylvania, he's the Bust Sculptor of... (to be announced!_)
Gork 7-12-7 Sepulturero
Thanks! This makes for the Delirious Fortune-Hunter, from Tortuga, (which probably makes for a comic duo with Byron, the Persnickety Fortune-Hunter from Tortuga from @bzaryp's entry). Gork is the Gravedigger of... (to be announced!)
(I guess Gravedigger is a relationship, albeit that one of the persons involved won't be very happy..!)
Yes, round 5! The plebs are calling for...
Herpestus, 1-1-10, he's the former town doctor (he didn't do a very good job, neither did Angel apparently), and is the lead guitarist in a band with....
Thanks for the shout out! This game is buckets of laughs! I'm loving the action we're seeing between acts, really ties the story together! :D
Now let fate decide the dice of the story... let the story dice the fate of... dice the story and lightly fry... just roll the damn dice :p
Hahaha, glad you're loving this and the speculation between the characters is certainly food for thought, I'm enjoying this as well!
Meet Herpestus, the Poor Boy from The Restaurant at the End of the Universe and he's the former town doctor as well as the lead guitarist in a band with... (to be announced)!
Ideas? Let me know! New episode coming in roundabout 24 hrs!
Thnks you @marty-art for the Great art paintings
Thank you @soufianelouka!
