Doodling for Days
In the few days since their arrival, I've been going on an artistic rampage with these new markers. I can't stop doodling with these magical posca pens that I've put a little pause on my Baccano dancing series (see posts here, here, and here). And I've been using them so much that I'm starting to fear for their lifespan; does anyone know how long the ink lasts on these guys?
I'm absolutely in love with the colors that come in the pack I bought; they work so well together and it's a fun challenge to see how I can draw all my favorite characters with four or five colors.
One thing I've learned about the markers is that my usual black ink markers look a little too harsh next to the pastel colors, so I've opted to use a blue pen to outline the illustrations. The pen is only, like, a dollar and change so I'm contemplating on buying them in a few colors instead of spending more money on posca fineliners.
Once again, trying to channel Sara Kipin's style in terms of simplicity and go for a lighter linework than I normally do.
Part of me wants to come up with some cool t-shirt designs to put up on Redbubble. Any ideas?
I said this in my last post and I'll probably say it again but: if you're itching to try a new medium, I highly recommend these markers. They get an A+ from from me.

These colours are awesome, so professionally flat. I like your Mart McFly, and noticed that you didn’t even draw most of the outline anymore? Nice pose and I like his excited expression :).
Is there any light brown colour for the skin though? Or are you stuck with yellow?
I really love how flat these markers show up, though they tend to look a tad bit streakier in photo. Yeah, I only have the yellowish orange that I've been using for skin tones. I kind of don't mind, I feel like it looks good with the rest of the color palette.

Well, now I really have to buy these :) I looked at Ali express and they have it, did you bought set or just random colors @la-fumettista?
