Destressing Activity: Coloring In My Psalms Stained Glass Coloring Book
After painting consistently for the past one month I am taking a break from it. It's good to take a short break to gather ideas for the next batch of paintings and of course to learn new things like techniques and stuff. I am a self-taught artist and most of my learnings are from library books, Youtube and for some extra lessons, I took art courses on Skillshare.
This week I mainly spent my art time with coloring by favorite coloring book - Psalms Stained Glass Coloring Book by Dover Publication. I bought this book 4 years ago from the US and it was very cheap back then. I am a slow colorist and only color once in a couple of months. The thing I like the most about this book is that it doesn't have very intricate designs and I can use markers. Markers are recommended for stained-glass type coloring book because the paper is glossy. It doesn't work well with colored pencils.
When I colored I don't plan my palette. I just grab whatever I fancy and just color. There is no pressure, no obligation, no one to impress. And it is a very therapeutic activity. It does help me to lower my stress level and helps me to calm down.
Here's the book cover....

Thank you for visiting. I hope you like it!
I am selling some of my paintings over on Artfinder. Shipping is FREE worldwide. You can check them out here: ARTFINDER. Thank you!
