Art. Groot (Guardians of the Galaxy). Markers. Step-by-Step.
The topic of portraits recently became quite close to me. And I thought that the portrait is not only a man (or animal), but also a tree. So Groot is in front of you.
And a little about the process
I start with an easy sketch immediately with the liner. I have not used a pencil for a long time. It seems to me that he is superfluous)
Now the main tone. I do not plan to seriously diminish, I want to leave a sketch. Greenish-brown.
I enter the first details. I'm just working on the color.
A little more color, I pass the texture of the tree. I have a diminishing cracks.
Finishing touches, a little pencil and ready.
The sketch took me about half an hour, taking into account the photography. Used a limited palette: 3 shades of green, 3 brown and 2 gray. I drew the markers and used white and brown pencils for the details.
P.S. It is hard to write in English, because my native language is Russian. But I'm learning. If you notice serious errors in the text that interfere with the correct perception, please let me know about them.
