Great is Thy Faithfulness – Inspirational ORIGINAL ART #22 by @allforthegood
Today’s inspirational art isn’t a bible verse, but a hymn, and one of my favorites:
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
Isn’t that beautiful?
How great is God’s faithfulness to us! And yet we often fail to trust in His love. We struggle to remember how He has given us everything we have needed. In the day to day muck and mire, we simply don't see the hand of the Lord working on our behalf. I pray that today we will all take the time to slow down and see his wonderful faithfulness, mercy and love at work in our life.
How I Came Up With the Design
I really enjoy finding a font with some character. In this particular design, I wanted to find something that looked believably handwritten, not formal or stoic, and but with energy and expression. The subtle grey blue texture in the background darkens at the edges to serve as a frame for the text. I chose floral and diamond elements to provide a beautiful burst of color and enhance the frame, while still keeping the message a central focus.

As a suggestion for future art pieces, you should try making some wallpaper (for computer desktops). That way, people can instantly grab it and use it on their computer :) Watermark it in the corner with your steemit name for a bit of a reminder of where the fancy art came from :)
Great idea! How would you offer it? Would you just provide the image here on this page or link to another file hosting site? Would you just provide it in 1080 by 800 would it be?
I'd offer a full 1920x1080 size (HD resolution). Put the low-res version on the page for visual purposes, and have a link to the high-res (1920x1080) version just beneath it. That's just a matter of uploading the high-res version like you would with any other image, and rather than embedding it into the page as a visual image, you link to it with a bit of html. Let me know if you need any tips on this part :)
