Walking around the zoos - Zoo of Rivne - Ukraine - Horses and ponies

Greetings, dear friends! I invite you to join my walk through the zoological park of the city of Rivne, Ukraine.

I want to share with my swami my impressions of meeting this wonderful zoo and its inhabitants.

People often have sympathy and vice versa, dislikes for some species of animals. Perhaps, after this journey, you will change your opinion about certain types of creatures from the animal kingdom.

I will not give bare encyclopedic data. All this you can read on the Internet. Those feelings that I experienced when meeting with animals, associations, that's what makes me go further. This is something that cannot be read, this is something that needs to be experienced, felt by each cell of the spinal cord.

Our journey began four days ago, today, the fifth day. In the links that I gave below, you can get acquainted with such inhabitants of the zoo as pelicans, meerkats and Black-and-white ruffed lemur and African spurred tortoise.

Today I want to introduce you to horses and ponies.

After talking to the turtles, my children heard the neighing of the horses and dragged me there. They immediately forgot about the turtles.

Horses, these are the animals, who can not leave a child indifferent. Their huge eyes look at you very expressively. The children wanted to hug the horse and give it something tasty.

The children ran a race across the meadow and tore off the succulent grass for horses.

The horses were very responsive, and they willingly ate what they were given. This caused a strong delight in children and me. Sometimes the horse would snort and the children would scatter, but then they understood that it was a false alarm and went back to their four-footed friend. It was very funny and cute to watch it all.

The moment you touch a horse is difficult to compare with something. In the movie Avatar, there was a similar connection between animals and riders.

My children called this horse a butterfly, perhaps that is what it is called.

Here, photos of different years of our visit to this zoo, the children have already grown up, but the memory of this event has remained.

My daughter Lisa loves braids very much, she does it in different ways, she really wanted to make this pony hair, but we had little time for it.

The children really wanted to ride a pony, but the fence between us and the horses established a rigid framework of communication.

My children often think of horses, even the music they play is indirectly related to horses and the places where they inhabit the wild prairie. My brother from Calgary was celebrating a birthday. He considers himself a cowboy and will not take off his wide-brimmed hat from his head. He loves horses and everything connected with the traditions of the wild west. The children prepared for him the composition Ennio Morricone, which you heard in the movie The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. This music is filled with prairie sounds and the thumping of wild mustangs.

With great difficulty, I persuaded the children to say goodbye to the horses and go on.

The children remember their friends and, as soon as the sun warms up, we will go to visit the horses.

We saw the horses and ponies, we are going to move on, many more interesting things await us. To be continued.

The zoo is located at the exit from the city of Rivne towards Kiev. The street is called Kiev.

Tickets at affordable prices, a children's ticket costs a little more than one US dollar, for adults, tickets cost about two dollars.
