Ethereum withdrawals are halted
As of yesterday, it seems Ethereum is having major issues transacting through the blockchain. I withdrew a decent amount from GDAX/Coinbase yesterday and after 16 hours, I still haven't even see a hash id. This is really concerning for me at the moment as I was looking to capture an arbitrage opportunity between GDAX and Poloniex and now that window has long passed.
If anyone else is experiencing something similar, don't fret too much because coinbase posted that the status of Ethereum on their exchange was experiencing a "major outage".
The bigger problem though, is that this instability of ethereum, and (as ive read) many other currencies, does not bode well for the confidence in these coins or their future.
