very happy to have @basilmarples along in the squad for this month, do hope you got in ok and found you way around, it's gonna be a smaller, quick fire, punchy video today hopefully because right now we have about 4/5 videos to edit, it's actually nicer to be able to have the video go a bit longer if we have less, kinda interesting how my edit changes based on how much source material we have, i had REAL trouble answering this question but i did do it first thing pre-coffee so yeah, make of it what you will, i think the kindle with decades of books on makes total sense thou! :) -- i would do all the learning on the island for certain! :)

looking forward to my thirty steem power coming back from my savings tomorrow, i'm gonna start making those ten steem blockchain accounts that i had promised last year when things were really expensive and i was waiting for HF20 -- although i could point people to steemhunt or other places to get an account i think the personal hand over might be nice, my only concern however is the ability for the people i give the accounts too to be able to get new codes after i give them to them, i don't want to store their keys and i will stress that when i give them the keys to access the account, i guess i need to make a video to stress how important these keys are.

the responses were similar but also wild, how when we are given three material things the way we wanted to self hack what those three things were to us, not just a person but a family for instance, or build in some level of security backup, i really felt the survival vibes in the video today! :)

it seems that even thou we like the dream (or not) of being able to go to an island we certainly want to know the lay of the land before we get there, certainly different when you would be washed up there and the difference of getting an invite TO the island, we seem to have more parameters when it's offered rather than forced upon us -- the bartering and need for certain things was evident, certainly a heavy overtone of survival, i certainly felt like we all had our wilson moment ;)

Consider these when posting your video

• 16:9 landscape works better for an editor than portrait (but i'll still include it if you make it that way)
• don't watch the others in the day until you have uploaded yours (let your internal voice come through)
• there is no right or wrong way to answer the question
• aim for 1:30 > 3:00 minutes maybe, but if your on a tear, go for it, i'll pick out the awesome stuff
• always think sound quality, be aware of background noise (bad video is fine if the audio is super clean)
• this is an empowerment network, treat it like it's the last node network on planet earth.

• thank you to the hardcore group for being there today, i realise that actually if i did have 100 hundred people that we might only expect twenty five to post on a day, so that's gonna build in some flexiability, otherwise, it's a series of LONG videos or i can edit them into parts, or have more than one EDITOR, could be interesting! :)
• next week is steem blockchain questions week, hoping to get a few more steemians in to answer those or if not it's just gonna be me answering them, i'm cool with that as well! :)
