i realise now this was really asking myself and re-affirming the question to myself about what my intention is with the roll out of this test phase of the project -- what's possible when you have a bunch of video people wanting to work together, a base of people willing to record video for someone on the other side of the world for free, some b-roll, a location somewhere on earth and even clients that want to pay for a 100 person review of their product, it's an area that i've been surprised that i've not seen over the last decade that's fluid and easy to use, it has huge potential as a market place and just general video maker space for all kinds of people in their life journey, originally i had penned it as an SMT/Community but i realise it can work independant of that too but i still will support the steem blockchain eco system for the fast payments window and no charges to send fees globally, that's huge.

what vlogging steemians should we invite? we've got like 10/12 spaces left for people to join now, i'm gonna have a real think over the next week and see who i can invite in, please leave suggests in the comments too!

of course as you can imagine i've got a bunch of the ideas and logic in my mind that needs fleshing out into a design and storyboarding but i do feel that streaming that next year on vimm as i step through will be an important part of the front end tool, at first i think we will go ultra simple, using what hosting resources you have got and a basic MVP system, maybe charge for the app and then include in-app purchases for some of the feature set, of course we will offer a basic version but i'm thinking sustain the idea from day one -- i've seen so many 'startups' just burn through runway money in a few years that actually i'd like to build something that i would use, would be useful to me, would save me time and also allow a more fluid video experience here on the steem blockchain.

i don't know about you but mondays always fill me up with promise and hope for the week ahead, maybe it's foolish or maybe it's just something i do to make sure i'm enjoying my time here on planet earth but literally yesterday i had the best planning day is a long while, i've got pretty much all the parts for my next course all mapped out and i simply need just to step through and record them now -- the best thing is that i can add to that as i go for each of the platforms as well -- i can see the potential for maybe working together on course creation too because udemy allows you to assign people to the course who get part of the payout, that's pretty cool.

so let me say a BIG THANK YOU for your opinions and thoughts today, it was so RICH to hear you all with your great ideas -- @johnspalding with his live show facilitation (thank you, perfect) and @lloyddavis with your ideas about scaling and also concerns, wanting to have you own spaces and projects to fire up to do your own, that's absolutely something i want to be in there at some point, i wanna get the basic vlogger tool mockup first thou, but yes, absolutely seperate groups that anyone can make, check.

@travelling-two really loved your ideas about focusing on actual events and just real world, down to earth day to day positivity and uplifting messaging, i love the idea of making a project based around 'empathy' for instance. i also heard what you were staying @shawnsporter about making it personal too ya know, keep it tightknit, maybe groups should have a working limit to keep it fresh? -- maybe 4 x groups of 25 work better than 100?

@travellit i really love the cultural angle! having previously done work with audience development agencies from different countries (i did the live streaming of events) i have some contacts for that, maybe once we are running strong i can make some outreach about that and introduce them to this idea of centralized uploading, decentralized content posting with a side order of blockchain.

and @chireerocks i found your section through provoking in terms of what we have had so far i feel everyone has been so open and vulnerable, i do agree with @lloyddavis that others should submit questions now for the rest of the month i think, i really want people to put their own questions forward. as for you @dayleeo, i totally agree with you that we need a channel for help people just relate to each other, be present for each other when we get lost in the lonelist parts of being a media maker in this new digital frontier.

next week is steem blockchain week, i wanted to pull a few opinions and questions out of our group and also the new people that will be coming on this week and next to see if we can really up the amount of video interaction and to ask those really important questions that we are all thinking about regarding our interaction with the chain on a daily basis -- what's missing, what do you need, what features would be killer, how do we effect onboarding and retention of the users, all valuable questions.

Consider these when posting your video

• 16:9 landscape works better for an editor than portrait (but i'll still include it if you make it that way)
• don't watch the others in the day until you have uploaded yours (let your internal voice come through)
• there is no right or wrong way to answer the question
• aim for 1:30 > 3:00 minutes maybe, but if your on a tear, go for it, i'll pick out the awesome stuff
• always think sound quality, be aware of background noise (bad video is fine if the audio is super clean)
• this is an empowerment network, treat it like it's the last node network on planet earth.
