NaNoWriMo 8 - The voice is back

in #creativecoin4 years ago (edited)

NaNoWriMo 2019. I join because I like to write. After #MarchMadness 2019 I thought I would never do it again. Writing 50,000 words on a mobile phone is not easy but possible. This time "the rambling goes on", or like @mariannewest calls it word vomiting and I continue the story. The story I started Once Upon a time and in March 2019, greetings from your cat writer, who wrote these words in between the daily life and its issues. It is 6 am. Location: Parking Lot at the supermarket.

No, I am not going to bore you with today's story.
As I checked my posts I noticed the comments I received are close to zero. What a waste of the #cc tag. Since I use it and you can find my posts if you follow that tag too I can only conclude you all avoid me on purpose. Not even the reward of a coin can get you that far to leave a short comment that does not make sense and has nothing to do with what I wrote. By now I wrote two stories that were written in rhyme. No one noticed it (stupid remark since no one took the time to stop by and read or at least scroll a bit down and read some parts). To me it is another proof that readers are rare and those who can read have no idea what they are reading.
Will Steemit ever be that platform they promoted they are? I have doubts about it. Those present here are not motivated enough to make something good out of it. There is a lot of blah, blah, and Steemfest should make it all better but this so called new Steem is worse as before. A party will not make it better it will only fool people, including you and me more. If each of us read 15 posts a day from a different writer and left a comment this platform would be that better place. We do not comment because we want to post quickly, we do not comment because we are too busy, we do not comment because it takes time, we do not comment because we are not such a writers, we do not comment because we do not care, we do not comment because we do not like to translate text and we do no longer comment because we never receive an answer. I understand all those reasons and I wonder why I take the trouble, invest so many hours in a platform that isn't mine, which's glorious days I will never be part of whth a connection as slow as mine.
Yes, I will keep reading and commenting no matter what. Not all of you because this is an impossible task plus most of you will never do the same for me. I learned that it is not worth investing in people who don't care, only take. So I say goodbye to most of you. My time is limited and I don't like to waste time on you. There are people who work harder, write way better articles and they deserve to be read, commented and upvoted. My time is precious too and from now one I will invest most of my time in what I love doing most (great idea you should do the same. It is hard I can tell you, with me always things come in between)

I joined #MarchMadness and wrote 50,000 words in March 2019. 50,000 Words on my mobile phone. Most of it I shared here. I learned not to do that again. It is what we call in Dutch "Parels voor de zwijnen werpen" (throwing pearls in front of the boars, which means you give something good to what does not appreciate it. As younprobably know a boar/pig eats everything ) If it comes to that I am lucky. It is better to receive not a single comments as many replies from people who never read what you wrote, are uninterested and without any knowledge. Never publish everything on the blockchain or the web if you like to publish once. Don't dig your own grave (Dutch idiom too). If you publish it yourself via Amazon you earn by selling one ebook more as what you earn here.
The piece above I wrote last night. Location: my bed. The hot water bag kept me company.

They left.

It was good and about time. Only if the youngsters leave there is room for new life and new life was on its way. Concerned about their wellbeing he felt not. Getting themselves into trouble was the last thing he expected from his boys.
They were easy and instructed and therefore well raised. He felt extremely proud as he thought about them.
He watched them as long as he could. The way they walked away. Slowly, step by step at the same pace following each other's footsteps without making a sound.

He stayed in touch with each one of them and would notify when it was time to come back. It was so easy thanks to the power of thought. They heard him no matter the distances thanks to their connection.
It was a historical day. Not only their first day out but also first night without him. It was a test too. Would they stay together or separate, who knows even find their way back home by themselfs? The direction he gave was to their first stop. It was a good place to spend some hours, they could take a rest or decide what to do next.

He already prepared a new home for the firstborn in a different cave. It was close to the 8 highest rocky mountains and opposite the one with the tunnels. The cave that gave him the gift of healing.

"How light-footed they are. As if they walked on air. So quiet and without disturbing anyone."

The boys' room was large. It had one entry and a smaller part in the back. At that part the ceiling was not high enough for the giants to stand up straight but there was no need to. They mainly stayed inside to get their rest and to recover.
There was plenty of room for each of them to stretch out next to and opposite of each other in the front part where the ceiling was high enough for them to stand up and stretch out.
Resting meant the energy used was given back to them. How it exactly would work out he needed to test later. Although his hands and arms turned green and he felt the energy in it, the giants turned green allover. The color was not as bright as his but there was a big chance they healed and recharged themselves.
"The power of healing" was given to him his rocky friend explained him and after that he had touched and hugged the boys, wanted them to have the benefits.

It was time to get ready. The beds for the newborns were made. Each of them had their own. "Sharing a room is one thing but a place of your own we all need," he said, "It is good to have something you can call your own."

From the lab he took some instruments and placed them in a corner at the back of the cave before he made his own bed.
For the time being he planned sleeping with them so he could keep an eye on his creations, the progressthey made. Their life should be as easy as possible.

The moon shone brightly upon him as he walked through the country. The eldest had not said a word since the first sons of the father left. It was understandable they preferred freedom too. It did not upset or worry him. After his walk, it was time to start with the new delivery.

"Delivery sounds so negative, these are living beings not different from you."

Out of the blue, the voice came and responded to his thoughts. He was not in the mood to ask why it suddenly spoke to him or who it belonged to.

"You are right. To me they are my children, my world but to them I am the delivery boy. I gave my word and give them what they asked for."

"Them? Who do you mean by them."

"Those, the living ones who were the first on earth, the eldest of course."
He felt surprised it wasn't clear to the voice, he needed to explain it. He was the only one, the voice had to be a spirit too or a ghost perhaps? He shut his mind, did not speak out one of his thoughts and concentrated continued his work in the lab.

He loved to create. Surrounded by his instruments and with the richdom of his knowledge he felt in heaven.
He was aware of not being the first in World's history who tried and managed to create life but he was the one who improved himself through the years. He had what all the others were not given time. In many ways, he surpassed his co-inventors and creators of the passed. The stones told him everything he needed to know to realize a new start. They had encouraged him in every way. He was grateful for all they had done, the lessons.

"You think they speak the truth, are the same? Are they the same? The first living, the stones, the eldest? Are they all one and the same person."

He didn't answer. Sure, he had heard the voice. Big chance it was concerned but why should he care? It all worked out fine even sooner and better as expected. The green... it came as a surprise and was the best, most precious gift one could receive. He focussed on his work and did not bother to respond, not gave it a second thought. There was no reason for doubt and therefore no reason to admit what the voice insinuated could be right either.

At the end of his working day, he felt satisfied. His new creations needed time to grow and get used to him, the area and in time their tasks as well. For now, it was growing and showing them all the important snapshots he made, provide them with the basics they needed to survive outside and in case of emergency without him.

Enough work was done. Later he would visit his pal and give an update about the day. He left the lab and walked back to the cave where they all soon would stay together. For a moment he stood still, watched into the direction they all disappeared.

"The big boys take big steps."
How long would it take him to join them? He shook his head. How come he had this stupid ideas He loved his world as it was. Being alone never was an issue for him. The next generation waited for him. There life did not even begin.

His last words were sent to his sons. "Stay safe, time to rest."
He saw them clearly. All of them still together standing still. He smiled at them and fell asleep.

Will this story be continued? Big chance it will. A voice showed up and shows interest in the creator. At times he can ignore it and is too concentrated to have deeper thoughts about its words. But who knows what we think, hear and see once asleep. It is the moment everything we ignored asks for attention. There are questions waiting for an answer. The voice will not back off. The giants are somewhere out there. We do not know yet with how many they are and what they are capable too and what about the new generation? Which task is waiting for them? And what about the rocks? Are they stone with a spirit or the houses of spirits? They waited so long but at the moment the time was right not one, the single spirit was present. And what about the first living, the ones born out of the earth itself? Did they survive through the ages, the Big Bang or does someone else speak in their name and manipulating the creator to realize his own plans?

@artturtle thank you again for stopping by. I am happy with it. Great Wednesday. ❤️

Leyendo tus escritos, Yo, nunca podré escribir tanto. Tienes alma de escritora. Es mucho para mi entendimiento.
También tu te das cuenta, que los que comentan son pocos. Y no devuelven comentarios, muchos.

Feliz sabado.

Gracias, un abrazo.

I read every word and I find your creative path very interesting in the story. You made me stop and think about what if someone could really read my mind and speak to me that way? I'm not sure how much I would like that, to be honest. The fact that you can do all of this writing on a phone is actually encouraging to me since I use the phone to write as well. But I wouldn't even think on taking the task of 50,000 words. The fact that you did it once is amazing in itself. I can't help but think that all of that writing is building a ground floor for something more for you. You are a very determined writer and I send you some positive thoughts and wishes.

@wandrnrose7 Thank you so much for your positive thoughts and encouraging words. It is good to hear you are a mobile user only too. I know some more and they all write more as just those few lines they say it's typical for mobile users.

If it comes to the 50k words. I started later and figured out I need to write 2000 a day. 2000 I can handle. Yesterday I did in less as 2 hours. Today it took me way longer.

In my #MarchMadness story all beings only used thought to communicate. All of them have other gifts too to survive. There is one exception the boy Alain. He needs words to express himself. The others are aware of that and give him his privacy.

In this tale words are lost too after the world ended. There is one man who learned to understand and speak the language of the first living on earth, those who collected all wisdom through the centuries. To help them he created the giants.
