🗞 Crypto Markets Rebound After News the US SEC Will not Consider Ethereum a Security

June 14th: all but two of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization are are making gains, according to Coinmarketcap data. Gains in of over 10 percent in some coins are a welcome respite for investors after crypto markets took a battering over the course of last month. Today’s gains are likely due to positive news that Ethereum (ETH) will not be regulated as a security under U.S. law.

🗞 Why do I believe EOS holds the key to Mass Market Crypto adoption?

Why does this matter? (5 points)

Firstly, because EOS recently raised over USD4bn in the largest ever token issue, to fund the establishment of the EOS bockchain as a major competitor to existing chains like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Secondly, because the EOS network has eschewed energy-wasting proof-of-work mining and opted for a proof-of-stake protocol, whereby block validators are voted on by EOS owners, and are then selected to validate blocks according to how much EOS has been 'staked' on each validator’s behalf. If EOS is successful, it could denote a significant landmark in the transition of public crypto blockchain technology away from proof-of-work, with potentially significant implications in the mid/long-term for GPU and ASIC demand.

🗞 Crypto Incomes Declared on Tax Returns in Russia

Taxpayers in Russia have started declaring incomes and profits from crypto transactions even before cryptocurrencies are legalized in the country, results from this year’s tax campaign show. The Finance Ministry has again clarified the applicable tax rules, while the State Duma is still fine-tuning the upcoming regulations.

🗞 The EOS Blockchain Is Now Officially Live

At press time, the blockchain has received more than the 150 million votes needed to determine the individuals or entities that will maintain the distributed network, the world's fifth largest by total value, thus ending a weeks-long process that had been among the most complex the evolving cryptocurrency market has perhaps ever seen.

As such, the news effectively ensures that the software for which a company called Block.one raised more than $4 billion during an almost year-long initial coin offering (ICO) will now be accessible. According to best estimates, the blockchain began operations at 17:46 UTC.

🗞 South Korea to Develop ‘Crypto Beach’, Modelled After Switzerland’s ‘Crypto Valley’

South Korea has revealed plans to launch a blockchain center in Busan city modeled on the Swiss Crypto Valley, local news outlet Edaily reported June 14.

At a recent blockchain event in Seoul “2018 Global Blockchain Conference,” chairman of the Korea ICT Financial Convergence Association Oh Jung-geun claimed that the organization seeks to build a space similar to the “Crypto Valley” located in the Swiss canton of Zug.

As I was explaining you yesterday, we were not fully able to go touch the support line at 1.50$ and it is most of the case a sign that the seller don't have enough power immediatly to continue. This hypothesis is now confirmed as the bounce has continued during all the day of yesterday. We must now continue the UP and go test the resistance line at 2.05$ to confirm that the recent drop was the short term low.
