Riding the Eisbach Wave (Entry for the ImageSkills Photo Contest - Motion)
Hello there!
This shot is my entry for the #imageskills challenge hosted by @bluefinstudios. The theme is Motion and the idea is to create an "interesting composition in your image using Motion."
This surfer is riding the Eisbach River Wave, in Munich. And she was not alone, there were a lot of surfers having fun, on this day. Some would surf for a minute or two... others would fall in less than 3 seconds. Whatever happened, they were all pretty happy.
Only one surfer was allowed to ride at a time. The others would remain on the riverbanks, waiting for their turn.

My feet are freezing just looking at the pic :D Altho I see there's a guy in shorts..but it still looks kinda cold :D

That is a really good shot indeed. So you didn't try it? I tried surfing once and man it is hard, great workout though.
I've tried body-board, when I was younger. On this day, I was just being a tourist in Munich. And not a radical one. :-D
