30 Stories - Twentythree - MY DOG
Hi fellow steemians,
Today's post is about my dog. He doesn't get enough credit for how important he is in my life. Since his birth he has always been with me and I can say without a doubt that he is the kindest and most intelligent creature I have ever met. He loves to play, but also goes on most hikes with me and has an equal amazing ability to chill when needed. His colours are black and white (and a bit of brown), so that is why I decided to do this series in b&w.
JUMP FOR JOY
If you want to make Lewis happy, throw some sand, water or snow in the air and he'll jump to try and catch it for hours on end!
STICKS OR ?
If you are not in the neighbourhood of water, snow or sand, anything that he can fetch will also make him the happiest dog on the planet. And yes he won't stop till you do.
HIKING
Whenever he join me on the mountain he never ceases to amaze me. His dedication to get to the top is as strong as mine and when he is roaming around he is one with nature, he knows instinctually where he can and cannot go.
WATER
When it is hot or when he did a serious hike and come across a lake or a river he loves to take a little swim. One the most impressive things about dogs is how they are able to dry themselves so quickly. There is something about dogs trying to dry themselves in slow motion. I feel that nature has figured this out quite well.
WHICH ONE OF THESE PICTURES IS YOUR FAVORITE?
Cheers!
PS: For those who don't know me, I live in a converted schoolbus with my girlfriend, my dog and my two and a half year old daughter Fenna. This summer we spend four months in Norway with our hostel on wheels (which you can join) and these pictures tell the tales of our most relevant experiences. I changed my 30 day challenge's title into 30 stories, because of the feedback of @geekgirl, she made me realise that my life is quite different from the regular daily 9-5 routine and that I can share some more insights into how we spend our days. As a side-note I must say that I am still quite proud that I am persisting to write daily for 30 days straight.

PS: I'm a Steemit newbee, don't know a lot of people, so please feel free to follow me as I'm following you as well!
Hi newbie, not to be arrogant, but asking for someone to follow you is not the best way of getting followers. They should follow you because they like the content that you produce. I am also still a newbie on steemit, but I have been quite active on a lot of other social platforms and they only way to this right is to grow organically, by interacting, commenting and putting effort in your posts. After my 30 days of daily writing on steemit I will write a post about the things I have learned so far. Steemit is quite different.
Hey @toocurious ! (is that even possible? being too curious?).
Thanks for your reply. It does not offend me as being arrogant at all! Newbies need to learn and after a day or so actively engaging I learned a lot already! An I wrote two blog posts, having fun writing them as well! Cheers!
