when asked to draw a picture of the profession I wanted to be when I grew up, I drew a picture of Donatello punching bad robots and told the teacher I want to eat pizza, play with computers, and punch bad machines when I am older. She thought the drawing was cute, but said hat's not a job I can get.

I even had a giant plush donnie I used to wrestle with on my trampoline. Took my favorite MGS character as a model and created my favorite ninja turtle. I'm geeking out lol

Sorry it took a bit to reply. This account was started by me (falseyedols) to help curate for the art community. Because I'm also working on my own art and promoting my craft on steemit, it's hard to spend much more time on this account. I have been reaching out to a few people who I know have a penchant for quality to assist. I guess if we have a few people assisting on curating, we will be able to help more users and get more people involved. If interested, I'd be down to send you the posting key for the account so you could comment/upvote and resteem through it. If that's too big a commitment (totally understand not wanting more passwords and also being short on time), you could always shoot me messages what to look out for and help show love to. This account is pretty weak still obviously and I'm trying to come up with good ways to make it more useful for other users. If you have any other ideas, please let me know as well! hey man, promise me to never apologize for not replying in time. I assume as you get more demands on your time from your creativity and maintaining your blog that we are going to go on without replying to each comment to one another, as well as to other readers. I too am in uncharted territory and I often have to choose whether to spend my time socializing or honing my craft, not to mention up-voting and doing all the finances, personal life etc.
anyway, I am honored that you'd consider me for the role my only concern would be to post or share work that you do not like or that is not in line with your taste or what you see to the group.
in terms of it becoming a burden, I don't think it will as I will post stuff that I really think is awesome. I also will not be sharing my own work on there, as that would create a conflict of interest (even if I really love a particular thing I post) however, you still can share it if you'd like.
other than that, it's fine by me and I am inspired by you creating the group to help artists get more exposure and for art lovers to visit a place where they can view work from, ideally, the best Steemit has to offer.
I definitely trust your judgement on what you would share, and I would still share your art on the page from time to time. I've shared a couple of my pieces before but of course do not focus on my work and won't really be posting mine anymore either, unless maybe it's a contest or something involving the community. It's still in it's infancy, and once I get more of a routine going, I'd like to be more active in going out and finding new stuff! I also made a discord for it. Do you have a discord? You bet! Looks like steemit has a security measure in place, where it won't let me send (even privately) any keys. When you email me the video I will reply with the key :) again, no rush. as you probably noticed, I haven't been too active on this account lately. Once I find my groove I'll get better about it

It won't let me send anything that appears to be a key as a memo. I tried sending the posting key as a memo with the "#" before and it gave me an error message and wouldn't let me click the send button. I also really love discord. It's a messenger app, plus there are a lot of steemit communities over there. We can private message there, as well. I'm also doing some radio stuff on discord for MSPWaves if you ever wanted to hear my beautiful voice lol. It's like the facebook messenger of Steemit, but much more. You can use it to get your art out to a wider audience, as well. Anyways, you can email me something like that comic con video, and I'll email you back the posting key, or if you wanted to setup the discord, we can correspond through there as well. Whatever you prefer. My discord ID is falseyedols#1856 so you can just paste that address into the search bar there and send me private messages
