Zooming in a little closer you see some of the detail of the two portions of Micheal Jackson when he was young witht he Jackson Five and as he was older.

Doesn't this art transform what is perhaps a dull building that would not stand out into such an interesting corner in the city

I found this information on him on Wikipedia

Eduardo Kobra (born January 1, 1976) is a Brazilian street artist. He is notable for painting murals, usually depicting portraits with a technique of repeating squares and triangles. Kobra utilizes bright colors and bold lines while staying true to a kaleidoscope theme throughout his art

Kobra became known for the Wall of Memories project in the city of São Paulo in 2007, where he portrayed old scenes of the city. In the state capital, several Brazilian cities have their works. It also has works in other countries, such as England, France, United States, Russia, Greece, Italy, Sweden and Poland.

In 1995, he founded the Studio Kobra, specialized in artistic panels, where he counts on a team of twelve artists.

In 2011, he was awarded the Sarasota Chalk Festival, the largest 3D art event in the world.

I am glad he came to NYC last year and did all these new murals, I have a few more of his work to track down in NYC to see and get photos of to share.

Awesome Art! I know I have expressed my admiration for Eduardo Kobraon's talent @tattoodjay and I was very pleased to see it here when I came in to check up on what was happening in your world this morning.

Who in their right mind would prefer a dull brick wall to this magnificent work? Many thanks for adding this to your inspired street art collection. (U & R )

Thanks so Much I do love this guys work and found three more of his pieces recently so more of his art will be coming in future posts, thanks for your kindness and support

Oooh that's good to hear JJ. I shall look forward to seeing more of his wonderful art. Are they situated far apart from each other?

Thanks I love his work so its been fun tracking them down, now just to find the time to edit and share them

I hope your weekend is going well

Don't forget to tag me when you do JJ. I just have to remember to check my tag. I'm very slack with doing that.

I will try to remember but with age I am find my forgetfulness is getting stronger

Tell me about it!....... If you remember JJ! I have a diary and do add important events and reminders.......but I just have to remember to check it regularly! (lol)

I use my phone and reminders mostly, but also a notepad at work with a todo list which reminds me I need to do the same at home or things like this LOL

I like the younger Micheal. Always did. You almost wonder if its commentary on the crazy destructive changes he went through or just tribute to him?

ME to preferring the younger and I did wonder the same myself is a a statement that the changes he and perhaps e as a society have gone through are not always for good

Very nice! The truck in the bottom picture actually fits in really nicely with the rest of the shot! Awesome work by both you and the artist.

Thanks at first I wished the truck wasnt there when taking the photos but when editing it I thought it worked well and gave a sens eof scale

Have a great day

What do you think? Will someone know after 10 - 15 years whose face is on the wall?

I kind of doubter it many of the tyoung generation today probably have no idea who he is

How sad it is. Time is cruel. But this man said that he intended to conquer time.

Very sad indeed and sadly that is one goal he never achieved

Oh! That is super sweet man! Love how they depicted him torn between his youth and adulthood. He has always been so popular he never got to live. Kinda sad. Thanks for remembering to tag me bro😎😉
