Awesome @paulag! So since you are involved with the steemitbc, that's where I'm going to delegate one fifth of my SP. What do you mean though the delegation doesn't go to you (in the comment below by @steemitbc) ?
what we mean is that if you decide not to delegate to the @steemitbc account we will still help you.

Hi! Thanks for asking. Basically i posted on slack a few days ago that we would be bringing it back to a private forum for ecoTrain passengers only. This is mainly due to some confusions with people thinking they were passengers .. and also because we had Very little engagement from others within slack..
Having said that, i would happily welcome you on board as an official passenger, as you are of course a perfect fit.. Being a passenger does entail some give and take, in terms of taking time to engage with each other and committing to reading some of our posts etc.. .. so please let me know if that you are interested in joining us as an official passenger and I can get you on boarded..

@qurator and @stsl are great community projects, and my additional recommendations here. I delegate to both of them as well.

Hahaha, I guess it's never too late, really (only once I've delegated the SP away, hehehe). Though over the last week or so I barely had time to even open Steemit, not to mention looking into delegating. But thanks for the suggestions! I'll check them out. It's always best to spread myself wide.

I must say that I am incredibly honored you would consider delegation to me. I can appreciate & respect you knowing yourself well enough too know you wouldn't diligently curate. I do. I have the passion for it. I was incredibly relieved to hear you wouldn't be giving up posting though as you are definitely am excellent writer & content creator. I also run @eastcoaststeem which is an account I manually curate. I also spend a lot of time curating my personal account & as you know steemit dreamit. Does it lead to increased sedentary times - yes! But I'm a runner and explorer so it all balances out! Thanks Again very much for mentioning me in this post . It means more than you would know!!!

I've rented/ leased Steem using @minnowbooster. They take a cut for admin purposes. I have no idea how to lease Steem directly to someone though. And I'm not sure what the owner gets out of it at the end of the day?
So overall not a very helpful comment lol. But if you do figure out how to go about it let me know 😊
I've looked a bit into delegating. Supposedly it's not too complicated to do it, though I've never actually tried it. And what the owner of the SP gets out of it? The wonderful sensation that their SP is put to a good use. That's the nice thing about voting: you give money to others without losing it yourself. Like those 25 cents I made you get for this comment, without taking it out from my wallet. So if I can do this, I really would feel bad about NOT doing it.
As for the technicalities, I think I'll write a post about it once I've tried delegating SP myself.

Yes I guess the delegator delegated it in the first place because they were going to be offline.
And then when you rent sp you're really just being a nice person spending your own money to buy sp to upvote others. Still learning how it all works.
I do enjoy going around and giving people upvotes. It's nice having a vote that counts for something.

A breather sure, but this is turning into a hiatus, which could become worse if I'm not careful. Plus, with all these plans for next year.... well, I gotta take some preparatory measures.
And OF COURSE I'm thinking of you and the Homesteadersonline! I might not have been as active as others, but still, you guys are one of the places I sorta feel like is my Steemit home.
I know, right?! ALL these FABULOUS plans for next year are oozing from every pore! I have SUCH BIG plans and goals.. and Steemit has given me such a boost of confidence and determination!

Great approach I would love to but spend far to much time on Steemit as it is. In fact I intend to cut down a bit myself to follow other activities. All the best though !
