Weekly report Community Curator, 16/05/20: @steemcurator08 for Visual Art and Photography
Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,
Another week past and we are happy to share with you our activity.
As always we would like to express our appreciation for the amazing tools that is provided by @steemchiller and his “Steemworld” that made the curation process easy and let us keep an eye on our Upvote power and finally to do Statistic.
Like last time we wanted to express my appreciation to all Community Curators who have taken such responsible job in order to bring support for simple users across on Steemit, because we know how much of your own time and efforts is behind of Curations:
- @roadofrich - @steemcurator02
- @wherein - @steemcurator03
- @canna-curate - @steemcurator04
- @greece-lover - @steemcurator05
- @project.hope - @steemcurator06
- @remlaps - @steemcurator07
Once again we were happy to be in touch with the people who we curated, we left not only a comment from @steemcurator08 but also comments with @stef1 or @art-venture.
It is in general noticeable that people commenting less and less but the blogers put so much time, efforts and their own thoughts and emotions. That is why we thought if we decided to choose those people why not to tell them why we like them.
Here it is how our working day look like:
- Searching through the different tags there are 16 Tags, last 2 years since we created @art-venture project we are looking through all these tags in order to find extraordinary and talented people who need some spotlight in order to shine.
Checking for recent re-post or copy/paste: some people posting the same posts in different communities so that we do not curate the same posts we need to go back to blog and check the date and communities where the posts we done.
Plagiarism using reverse image search machine: That is one of the important tasks stealing the work of other people or using Internet image without citing source that is something that curation should be paying attention to.
Visiting the users Internet website to make sure that the works are their own: we always glad to be able to visit the users own websites and view their works, to read about them and communicate. Only via communication we can make people interested in engagement and interest in blogging.
Commenting the posts with our own accounts so that people know that there is a human being behind who has viewed the posts and why we have chosen them.
Running our own project @art-venture where we just finished Photography Contest and Artist Showcase
We left with @steemcurator08:
359 Comments and got 105 Replies!!!22 Followers
Reputation 41
Voting CSI 20,3%: 166 Upvotes, 134 Accounts: the % of Upvote varied from 30% to 100% depending on posts, complexity of Artwork or quality of Photography, the story behind and the frequency of posting.
Curation Rewards for 7 days: SP 464,73 and still open 462,482SP that alltogether makes 927,212 SP over first 7 days
@anneadam created this amazing pencil drawing of Ocelot this is a small wild cat native to the southwestern United States, Mexico, and Central and South America. Using mechanical pencil ordinary pencil and A2 format she created this work. We love the details of the pattern of fur, that looks so realistic and also staring eyes simply hypnotised us.
Continuing in the world of wild cats we wanted to present this work done by @captainyeeha. Barry created this mechanical panther made of metal pieces looks like robot cat ready to chase its prey and as I told to Barry reminds me “predaror” movie. Barry mentioned that it has a size of a house cat.
@shinoxl presented his few works and also we learnt that he studied drawing at the Illustration Academy in Kansas City. He presented a photo of him and his mentor and this work is of his father in the style of Russian Artist Nicolai Fechin, who in 1921 after revolution immigrated to US and settled there.
@svdsdragunov or Nikolay Krastev who is impressive Artist both traditional and digital 2D artist. I like his dark surrealism, cyber and steampunk themed works. This work is so complex, luckily Nokolay made close up picture of details that each of them can even act as separate Artwork.
@jamesartville has presented his Spider-Man v Venom work, usually seeing such illustration we do not think how much work in planning everything behind, some people do not consider those Artists as real Artist but place behind the scene, what thoughts are behind, placement of characters their position in relationship to each other and also this is an action picture that is why James managed to show the speed too. Beautifully performed.
@samuel-earp-art presented this beautiful NZ landscape, that is just inviting us to go and explore it, running water of mountain river, sparkles of light on water surface. Sun reflecting in snow covered mountains. Recently Samuel started to present video tutorials that makes it so impressive to see how the work develops.
Another snow covered place is North of Norway where @harkar or Harald and his dog Nero having regular trips to first of all keep them fit and enjoy the nature. The photography of untouched area of nature, when I see them I tell my hubby that next holiday we have to go there.

There are so many things happening around me. I nearly missed this one... ^^
SteemWorld was unable to notify me because of a typo in your post:
Anyway, today I've found a path to you :)
Thanks for your splendid work!
I can imagine that it is busy for you. While typing sometimes I do not see that some of the names mistyped. Luckily for ordinary words there is a auto correction function.
I am glad you still have found this post and thank you for your nice feedback in regards to the work.
Pretty entries, some are really professionally done @stef1 ijust wished that I had the talent to create art too but I lack skills if not inspiration to create one.
Thank you @cryptopie for viewing. In Visual Art it is something that really makes us puzzled and also to be a bit jealous of such gift like talent to create Art. I admire all the people who have such fantasy and inspiration, who dedicate their time and skills to make us wonder and capture our attention. Thank you for stopping by :)
Great work! Love the layout and in-depth of these posts. I find it interesting to see our differences in curation. Keep up the good work and as the saying goes, #steemon! Lol
Hi @canna-curate thank you for viewing and your opinion about our post, as you know in modern fast time we do not have patience to concentrate on something for a certain time and quickly loose an interest. With using different tricks, like paragraphs, fonts, separators and of course luckily we have Visual Art that at least helps us to catch attention of people. 2 weeks left, Steem on!
This post has been rewarded by the Steem Community Curation Project. #communitycuration04
Thank you @steemcurator04 for supporting this post :)

Thank you. Glad you liked it 😊
Thank you Marcy really appreciate your feedback and viewing the posts of those Steemians :)
