Observations of the Curators

What a great week for my curation round as I read lots of beautiful and amazing contents from different communities and individual. So far, in my one month of being one of the community curator under Team 4, it really give me another dimension of experience here in Steemit and that I will always do my best I could to do this role. In checking the posts, I will make sure to check all the necessary requirements to be supported like the steemexclusivity, club status, bot free, plagia free and ChatGPT free. I will alway thank and praise God for all of this and to Steemit Team for the opportunity.

  • @nahela: Thursday (23, March 2023):-

It is my third week in this work team, I have searched for several publications, I like to support cases that are not admitted and a few outside the club. I followed my work pattern, looking for quality content but without the rigidity of 300 words or club rules, just focused on original content. This week I found very good posts.

It was the fourth Friday of the month and I started my curation very late because the VP was recovered very late. I started my curation at 7 p.m, I visit different communities and searched different tags to find out the great quality posts. It was a bit difficult for me to manage the curation at time because I was tired off the whole day. At the end, I was able to curate a total of 16 posts and 4 comments.

Overall I selected many users who participated in the engagement challenge, many participants deserved support. The curation schedule, which happened to coincide with the competency test in the real world of work, did not hinder my passion to read and provide decent support to many user posts. A busy Saturday, but still fun.

Curation for me was yet another wonderful experience. I was able to tour round the platform as usual looking out for post which should be supported. As usual my expectation wasn't cut short, I met quite a number of them. Users in the club5050 categories got more upvote from me, followed by club100 users and then club75. In summary, It was an awesome but demanding activity.

This last Monday of March I was able to start curating late in the afternoon. However to make the most of the day and cover various posts regardless of when they were shared I began filling in the spreadsheet with links and tags in the morning. Then as soon as the account reached 100% I upvoted everyone on my list making sure that the articles haven't already been supported by any of the other curators on duty. I shortlisted members of all three clubs who posted about different subjects from sport to travel, the trendy creative writing and the old but gold diary game. Comments were plenty, so I gave priority to such which indicated that the bloggers read other users replies and started a discussion.

Today for the first time, was the most challenging day for me; I don't know who began the disarray, but when @petface handed over the account found that the power would reach 100% in Indian at time 4:15 pm. I asked her, and she informed me that she also started her curation late reason behind was identical. So, for the first time, I couldn't able to reach many posts. I desired to back the curation account period in its accurate time which was retained earlier. Today I want to add one thing to this report we must apply or concede the responsibility for; If we believe we can perform with accuracy. I always try to maintain discipline whatever commitment I obtain. In my entire curation months today, I only curated 21 posts; and six comments only. The reason is clarified above.

Reasons For Selection:My selection for best post of the week goes to @norat23 as she presented a great post for her entry on the SECS 8 Week 4. What I like on her post is the details she shared on the mental health topic on the SECS 8 Week 4 from Steemit Health for content creator which is very important to us especially here on Steemit. We do believe that mental health is one of the issue we should address for us content creators and that she shared details which is also considered a big helped for me as a content creator.

Reasons For Selection:In this post, the author @miguelito80 has beautifully shared a very tasty and time consuming recipe. The name of the recipe is Stir-Fried Fresh Babo and it looks like the fried meat because I didn't tasted it yet. He has shown all the steps that he have adopted while cooking this dish. The ingredients are easily available in the market. The quality of photos and overall presentation is also very good.

Reasons For Selection:Posts that are not so long, but have the benefit and courage to publish content like this. Something different, even though there has been content like this before. Being a user by daring to come up with something more tangible, is a good form of effort to give another color to a content publication..

Reasons For Selection:My pick for the week is a club5050 user from indonesia who shared with his readers his beautiful experience in one of their local festival. It's a very detailed post which seems to me like every detail was captured including the location for the festival. He also captured in the post everything he enjoyed which included the food served and every other side attraction. He didn't also leave us in the dark about how much he spent to have a good time. I enjoyed learning about his culture.

Reasons For Selection:What an interesting topic! The author had a lot to say about his own way of writing. He reveals his tricks and what he sometimes struggles with. I totally agree that whatever mood you are in you should definitely write if you can. #creativewriting is certainly a delicate matter and it is closely related to everything else that happens around us. Emotions can provoke the mind in a unique way and by expressing yourself online you will be able to deal with complicated feelings, get a better understanding of what you are going through and get closure. I personally do not need pen and paper, I just love the many more digital options available.

The story of my birth.pngPost Link

Nominated By@sduttaskitchen
Reasons For Selection:>My kidneys were treated for two weeks at the hospital in my city. Every day I was put on drips, injected, and given pills. But after two weeks it did not give any result. I was sent to the hospital of the regional center. While curating, I found this challenge post shared inside the steemit health community. Motherhood is the best experience for any woman; only a woman can comprehend the feeling when the baby grows inside her body. Here the author explains how difficulties she faced while giving birth to her daughter. Hence I selected the post; as the top post of the week.

This post will expire in 6 days.

Above is the summary of our 4th week of curation and we are very happy that we got an opportunity to serve Steemit with all our hearts in a professional manner. For more details, our spreadsheet can be viewed here:

Thanks for mentioning my post about mood, mood-swings and creative writing. In fact, your mood works both ways. If it swings in right way, you feel like was it me who did this post and if it swings in the other way, then again you feel the same- was it me who did this post? Cheers!
