Monthly Review - Steemit Sri Lanka Community

Introduction

Today we are going to express our monthly progress through the last month. It’s true we are still new to steemit but we have shown impressive progress than other communities. As you all know, 3 months ago we announced our Steem Sri Lanka community and the purpose of the community is to gather all Sri Lankan members into one place. In the beginning, since we didn’t have a community, we were gathered under the #srilanka tag. But now we have an excellent community in which other Steemit users also write their articles. Let’s talk about what we did during the last month.

• Growth Of The Community

This was taken before one month and we had only 220 subscribers at that moment. But now we could increase the number of subscribers up to 300+ subscribers. And also our members are getting good votes for their posts. We always try to stick to the quality of the posts and recently we have updated our Rules of the community about plagiarism, crossposting, and others. Now we only accept #steemexclusive posts in our community.

• Establishing A Curator Account For the Community

Curator account is a big step for the success of the Steem Sri Lanka Community. We could get support from delegators and could increase the Effective power to 24.3K SP. For now, we could generate 1146 upvotes with 51 posts in the curator account. We hope to support all the Sri Lankan members and the active members from other countries also.

• Achieved more than 6K Sp as Author rewards

We are happy to say that within several months we could achieve 6000+sp Author rewards for the curator account. The main thing is we have prepared several tutorials which help newcomers mostly. And also all the posts are very meaningful and helpful for others.

• Steem Sri Lanka Tutorial Collection

• 100% Powerup Promoting Program

Recently we have started a program to promote 100% power up posts in the community. what we do is we are counting the number of 100% power up posts weekly basis and give 10 steem to the highest number os powerup poster. Everyone welcome to participate in this program. The only thing you have to do is posting powerup posts in our community.

• Winning moments of Community Members

It's not a secret that everyone knows Sri Lankan members are winning most contests. We were able to win the places from diary game season 2 and after that several contests were won by our members. We would take this opportunity to congratulate all our Sri Lankan members who won the places from contests.

• Steem Sri Lanka Contest Series

This project is launched to give the opportunity to any member from Sri Lanka to host a contest. The aim is to give opportunities for all Sri Lankan members to organize their own dream contests and to bring the attention of our community to the whole world.

Every Steemit users know about the Steem Sri Lanka contest series. We are very happy to say that we could increase the number of participants in our contest series. Recently we got 34 entries for one contest and that is the highest entry-amount we got for a contest. we will continue round 2 until other members organize a contest.

What Come Next

• We hope to achieve 25 K Effective Sp before the end of 2020.
• The next target is to achieve the 50K SP goal before the mid of the 2021 year.
• We hope to come with several new ideas in near future.
