Middlefork Grown by Dutchy
Middlefork is a strain from right here in Washington. It is a hybrid mix of DJ Short Blueberry and Dutch Treat. It's grown in the middle of a fork in a river hence the name.
This gram was basically a single bud, good trim job and the curing of this I would consider perfect. It burns perfect and yet feels like it is fresh off the plant. Be careful not to squish this to much as it doesn't bounce back into shape. Easy to pack to tight, or roll something to tight.
Standard extra thick zip-lock bag. A lot of branding, window on back to see the bud and the break down of the THC% and CBD%. This zip lock was actually sealed at the top, very nice to see. Because of the baggie the nug was squished, nothing horrible but it was noticeable.
The smell of this was a sour citrus skunk. As nasty as it sounds I would call it a vomit smell. The sour note in the smell really stands out to me. Good skunkieness to it. The taste Is a lot like Dutch Treat with a deep skunkieness to it. Almost had a basil taste on exhale. Good amount of expansion and a little harsh on exhale, just a little.
The high from this is what you would expect from a cross of Dutch Treat, strong in the sativa with just a touch of Indica to mellow it out. Made me very creative and motivated, did not lose focus like some strains do. The body high comes in about 30 min or so but is very mellow. The head high comes on in about 5 min. Little bit of a creeper as I finish my bowl and then it takes a min or two till I start to feel it.
This gram was 10 bucks and for what you get I think that's decent. Was not the cheapest but wasn't the most expensive. Right in the middle. black market this is a 20 dollar gram easily.
Would I buy this again? Sure if I was looking to have a taste of Washington this would be on the top of my list. I would also recommend this strain to anyone visiting Washington just to sample some weed.
