Now The Scammers are Asking Me For Money. Get a Job, Blog More on Steemit- Cause You Remind Me of This Junkie Video Clip
For the past 3 days people I don't know have been asking me for money and I am not talking about a little $1 or 2 sd. I am talking $25-50 steem dollars! Are you kidding me? I bust my ass at work come home take care of my son and have to take care of other things. NO....I am all for helping, as most of you know but I am a minnow as well. Also if you are on here asking me for money and i dont know you, you need to get a job or blog more. Please don't beg or try to BS me for money go ask a whale (kidding) . It's funny, one scammer probably looked at my wallet and at the time I had exactly 26 steem dollars. He sends me a message saying: "Hey I need help i have an emergency can I borrow 26 steem dollars if you have it"
Whats the emergency I ask?
Response: "I have to buy some books and play some steemdice" WHAT are you KIDDING ME!
I don't mind helping trusted steemians who i know and trust with money or who have a reputation of honor and respect on here. I have helped a few out with money and will continue to help who "I WANT TO HELP" but I knew them and I trusted them. The other stranger asked me for $50 SD! I will say it again. Don't ask me for money if I don't know you like that. Even though I feel sorry for you like I do Leo in this video below this is what you remind me of you of when you ask for me for money.

Some people have no shame really !! Actually maybe this needs to be adressed and accounts actively begging to unknown idividuals should be cmlpiled in some invisible way, but repeated abusers be identified and flagged into invisibility @road2wisdom ??
Hi @gomeravibz I think if it continues and becomes a bigger problem they will be flagged let them ask the wrong person and I bet they get flagged down to the basement! The flip side is that I don't mind helping as a matter of fact I have helped out a few people on here with money but I knew them. I think this problem is even worse than a spammer this is some scammer out of the blue targeting what I have in my wallet at the moment and asking for help for that exact amount. While the other must have been high or low on his crack to ask me for $50sb lol Yes, I think you idea is great :)
I'm not sure where you would get such messages, but maybe it is like this:
Random Stranger in Chat: Can I ask you something?
Me: Yes you can. Search my tag "fitinfun" and find a post to comment on. Make a good comment about the post and then ask your question. I will be very glad to connect with you and help you if I can.
I have given this answer twice in a week when I go to steemit chat to promote my posts. The people ding me as soon as I get there and so I know not to talk to them.
This is why I do not chat lol.
I don't even get the chance sometimes to ask what they just ask for money or even worse the ones who try to kick it to me lol
I get them on discord! I tried the invisible approach I cant even be seen on a chat with out a follow follow a vote for vote and now money! I help ppl I know I don't mind even with cash on here but when a stranger asks me for the exact amount I have in my wallet I don't think its a coincidence and he has real emergency haha
lol - tell them to post their situation in a steemit post and you will look at it. I decided not to go into discord and I have not heard anything that changes my mind yet :)
