color correcting!

One very popular form of makeup is color correcting, which is essentially using certain colors of makeup to cancel out others colors on your face. This trend has become very popular among those interested in beauty. Today, I am going to help you see which colors serve which purpose, and make color correcting a breeze for you!

YELLOW - cancels purple tones and resolves slight redness.
GREEN - cancels redness from things such as acne.
PINK - brightens dark spots on lighter skin tones.
PURPLE - helps with yellow undertones on light skin.
PEACH - cancels out dark circles, better for medium/dark skin.

Almost every brand of makeup offers some sort of color correcting whether its drugstore or name brand. Color correcting can come in the form of a concealer consistency, powder consistency, or cream-like.
