Walking along the alleys with tulips.
The month of may is always a month of bright impressions. And today I want to show You some nice moments of spring mood.
These days in St. Petersburg is a festival of tulips and everyone can still enjoy the beauty of these wonderful flowers. (I told you about the masquerade ball that took place on the opening day of this festival- https://steemit.com/life/@madlenfox/masquerade-ball-and-immersion-in-the-baroque-era ).
Bright flower arrangements, flower beds of tulips from different countries, Alpine hills - all this looks very beautiful and well-groomed among the huge trees that grow in the old Park
Of course it is impossible to enjoy this splendor in peace and solitude. The beauty of flowering tulips is too fleeting and every day a lot of people want to have time to capture these beautiful moments.
An incredible sight and delightful floral aromas. Along the Park alleys you can find live sculptures. It is simply impossible to make good shots , as a lot of people want to capture them on their cameras :).
Forest nymphs, elves, various mythical characters - they looked very harmonious in such a magical atmosphere.
The festival featured several installations made by florists - designers. For example, this composition in the form of a pretentious bed in the Baroque style is called "Temptation".
Another project is the "Tree of life". The basis for this composition is an old tree stump. It is believed that the tree is a symbol of life and movement forward. The theme of this year's festival is Baroque. Curved branches, splendor, bright colors of plants in the crown tell us about the splendor of the forms of this era.
In General, it was another beautiful day of my life. It was nice to admire the various types of tulips, the amazing blue sky and the scenery of the Park.
I was reading on one of the stands: the area of the island, which is the event - 968 km2, growers had planted tulips on the area of 4000 square meters, there are 120 varieties and planted 175,000 bulbs.

It looks really nice, just a pity that they do not bloom for a long time. I looked at the pictures Keukenhof and it is very beautiful, no wonder it has a name - the Royal Park.
By the way, in this Park this year we were able to see many species of Dutch tulips. great variety :)
