My hyperrealism drawing of my elder brother

in #ntopaz5 years ago

ntopaz-image-0Hello guys, this is one of my greatest work, this work pushed me beyound my limit it is a work i did of my brother his wife and his son. This work took me approximately 3 weeks to finish but the end result got me smiling, art is beauty the more you work the more you see the beautiful side of it, when he saw the work he thought it was a photograph because when i presented the work to him, it was already framed and he didnt see any progress shots, when i later showed him the making of the work he was so speechless i could see the joy in his face, i feel so fufilled when my art work makes people smile it gives me that zeal to create more work.

Materials i used for this work are:

-Charcoal pencil/ graphite pencil HB
-Kneaded eraser
-Cotton bud
-Glossy paper etc

Was it a present to your brother and his family? I'm sure that they all got emotional when they saw it :)

It's indeed realistic and I could also easily mistake it for a B/W photograph. They are a lovely family and they all look happy..

Thank you for sharing! It's a beautiful artwork!

Have a lovely day!

Yeah it's my brothers family when they saw it they wer so happy, even my little nephew who is 3years old could recognize his face, he kept saying look at Daddy, mummy and baby othniel lol othniel is his name..bottom line the work has really speak for it self when ever anyone comes into their house the drawing always catch their attention thank you for your comment.

Hmm, the Youtube video isn't working. But this looks incredible 😳 At first I thought that it would be a photo like you already mentioned 🙀

Yeah i noticed it to but if you check on my profile you will see my youtube link there, everyone who saw it at first taught it was a picture well thats just the power of hyperrealism, sorry would have replied since but i kept running out of low Resource Credit R.C

Yes I found it thank you. It's amazing how long does it take you to draw a portrait? 😀 I donated you some Sp so that you are not limited.

Wow thanks so much, thats so kind of you, it depends on the work it could take me 2 weeks 1 week depending on my schedule and also the nature of the work.

No worries, I know how it fees if someone steels your data, I had the same with my website... the developer disappeared and I lost all the money which I invested but this wasn't the worst part. The worst part was that I could start all over again 😢 I could safe some articles but most of the pictures are gone.. So I had to redo nearly everything. Glad that I could help you a little 😊 I am curious... How much are you charging for a portrait and would you be able to ship it?
