BitPay Visa FAIL! BitPay Visa charging 60% FEE?!!!

So I was curious about the Bitpay VIsa but only because I was thoroughly impressed with my Bitpay wallet. Now in my world of dealing with crypto-currency, I usually gamble with very little, and then if it works I usually gain confidence enough to put some more in. I do this usually with new wallets. I mean all these disaster stories you hear on a weekly basis, I just would be crushed if I lost my hard earned money. A month ago I started messing around and further exploring me Bitpay wallet. As usual I approached it with my method of carefulness. When I saw that not only was it consistent but informative as well in regards to my transactions, it became my favorite wallet to use. Anyway, I saw the opportunity to acquire (for $9.95 USD) a BItPay Visa card. I was so knee deep into trading so I saw this as a good opportunity to help me cash out more conveniently, and spend some of my profits if I wanted to, minus the crazy Bitcon ATM Fees. My card arrived in about 2 weeks. I told myself I'm just going to load 20 dollars on the card, just to see how it works. The way the card works I would later learn was more misleading than I thought. The card is linked to your wallet. So what you are loading is whatever you need to from your Bitpay wallet to your Bitpay Visa card. However your Bitpay wallet and your Bitpay Visa are two separate entities.

And within these two entities there is a gigantic fee to load the card! So remember when I said I wanted to load the card with $20.00 USD? Well I tried to do just that but I made sure to only have around $20.00 in my Bitpay wallet first. I had moved a significant amount more to my Mycelium wallet right before. I believe I had in total a little over $21.00 USD left in my Bitpay wallet. So I started off with attempting to load $20.00 USD to the card. I thought surely I would be charged a fee, thinking the fee might be as much as $5.00 USD. NOTE: There is no solid information from Bitpay explaining the Bitpay Visa card's loading fee. A message appeared after a few seconds "Could not create transaction. Insufficient Funds"..."Hmm...that's interesting I thought...but keep in mind I half expected the fee to be high at the most $5 USD. So even though I was a little bewildered, I half expected a fee to be attributed to the error. So I tried loading $15 USD, same error. I felt my insides feeling that feeling when you come to the slow realization that maybe you've been bamboozled...Nevertheless, I tried loading $14 USD, same error. $13, same error....$11, same error...$9.00 (at this point I knew I was duped...but was just curious as to how badly)...this time Bitpay took a bit longer...only a few more seconds...."Successfully Loaded"...or something to that extent...Wow 60%, tried it with another amount the next day thinking that maybe it was a constant $11.00 USD fee..and that just means I have to load more in the future and maybe not such a small amount.....Nope, 60%. The same thing happened. Stay away from this card! I've yet to hear from Bitpay support. My experience was extremely disappointing. Can you share yours?

Why you're using introduceyouself tag for this post?

Cause I can do that. :)

When you get flagged , you not gonna laugh any more. Not by me, but somebody will punish your behavior, sooner or latter. Don't come cry to me then.

What are you talking about? A "tag" is a search engine optimization tool used for "YOU" to help make it easier for people to come to your page. I have been on this site literally for 4 days. Are you the Steem police or do you just have a problem with me as a person? Also, I'm very smart and know exactly what the rules are here.

Good luck then. I have no time for this.
