My 2018: Achievements and Failures

I thank God for how far he has helped me this year. This year, 2018 has been so good to me and in all honesty, I can say it is my best year so far. I pray next year will be better. 2018 is gradually coming to an end as we have some days left to cross over to 2019. When I look back and reminisce on everything I have accomplished and things I am unable to do, I bless God for my life.

I also thank God for this platform STEEMIT because this platform helped me a lot to accomplish most of the things I accomplished this year. So, I say thank you to steemit and all the wonderful people I met through steemit that are now my family.

Without wasting much time, let me just list some of my achievements and failures this year. I will not be talking much about them because I have already posted about most of them on my blog. So I will just drop links to read the post about each of them and also drop pictures.

My Achievements

1. Myself and other admins of the Abuja steemians community (@anjiba @xpency @jacobit @chiama @fatherfaith) succefully organized the biggest steemit seminar and meetup in Nigeria on the 27th of February. This event was held in Abuja and the seminar brought a lot of people in Abuja to steemit, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

2. On the 2nd of March, I successfully organized a seminar for the youths of ona-ara local government on Oyo State, Nigeria. I used the seminar to expose them to steemit, steem and blockchain technology. 3. On the 5th of February, a colleague and I successfully did a charity program to celebrate her birthday. We were able to feed the students of FCT School for the blind, Jabi, Abuja, Nigeria and we also donated materials to them. 4. On the 3rd of March 2018, I visited the children of Akanran village in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria where I successfully donated food and writing material to the children of the community. You can also read up the post here.

5. On the 3rd of May, I visited LEA primary school, Idu Koro II, Abuja, FCT, Nigeria and I successfully donated some writing materials to the pupils and the teachers of the school. 6. I was also able to launch my project this year. Through the project, I train people on different skills to make them entrepreneurs and to eradicate unemployment and hunger in my country Nigeria. The project is called SSAT -Steem Skill Acquisition Training. The first Steem Skill Acquisition Training (SSAT) was held in Abuja on the 26th of May 2018. The first training was on Fish Farming and Poultry Farming. Here are some of my many achievements this year.
As you can see, I added some of my charity works to my achievements. It is always a thing of joy for me to impact others people's lives by helping them with the little I have. So, every opportunity I have to help the needy, I consider it as an achievement for me and this platform has contributed a lot to this.

Failure

The only set back I had this year was not been able to attend SteemFest in Poland. I put in a lot of effort to be in Krakow but was still denied visa. Though I did not make it to Poland, I still want to specially thank @surfyogi for his support always most especially trying his best to make me attend SF3

As you can see, I have a lot of achievements this year compare to my setback.
