The lioness is waking with a yawn to great the other as the sun rises across the Serengetti in Tanzania. There really aren't words to describe the amazing feeling as you witness the early morning sun on the Serengetti and the animals wake for the day.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #39 - winner announcement!

@stabilowl Australian Monday entry:

Every year in June, Sydney lights up during the Vivid Sydney festival, where visual arts and lights shows covers the many buildings and landmarks around Sydney Harbour. This year, I am especially impressed with the strobe light show at Circular Quay, where rays of blue lights emits from the top of buildings as well as the Harbour Bridge lighting up the sky.

Jellyfish photographed this morning especially for the contest @czechglobalhosts ... !! Well ... not really for the contest "Tuesday of Antartica" I lie... (!). But on the other hand, it is true that this jellyfish came around my boat this morning when I woke up and that I had a pleasure to slide in the water to observe it under all sides. I hope you will like this share !

While admiring the pyramids in Cairo, I decided to go take a walk into the desert. It was a hot day but the walk was worth it. Camels are not animals I can see everyday and being able to see them that close was cool.

It is amazing how different species and animals handle different conditions. Thank you for your entry.

On my way from the Omo Valley of South Ethiopia to its capital city, I saw vast lush banana fields and lots of mango trees. The locals would come to passing vehicles to sell fresh fruits. This boy also helped support his family and he’s eating mangos along the way. :)

I want some of those mongos, haha....

Photo is from Namibia’s Mahango NP, where we took sundowner cruise on the river and were witness of this magnificent sight. A big horde of elephants came to the river to drink and we just shut down our engines and listen to the wild…

What a great sight to witness! Truly amazing.

Jardin Majorelle, Marrakech

Majorelle garden is a tranquil place in busy Marakech. The garden and villa was home to French artist Jacques Majorelle who created the distinct blue artworks in the garden. He even trademarked the name "Majorelle Blue"!

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

The gardens look immaculate!

In Tsavo East in Kenya there is a place where the Galana River is funneled into a narrow channel where it turns into a raging torrent called Lugard's falls. It is a spectacular, noisy and atmospheric place where the heat of the sun beats down like a blacksmiths hammer! One of those landscapes that can kill you. A few days after I took this image the Galana River broke its banks and flooded huge areas. Kenya has had some of its worst flooding for over 70 years recently.

Thanks ever so much for your contribution and great entry.

Botswana, Chobe National Park. Beautiful sunset during our safari. We had to hurry because we wanted to be back at our campsite before dark. We made it. We arrived on time and had also a nice picture.

What a great sunset! It is amazing how they all look so different but spectacular.

From the safari jeep in Kenya, we have gotten with this family of lions, who were possibly looking for food. All the animals in this area always walk, run, feed, etc. in a herd, it is unusual to see an animal without its herd, as they take great care of each other.

Nice little fellas on their walk:).....

Sahrara Douz Tunisia
A visit to the Sahara Desert is an experience that everyone should have at least once in their life. It's a trip worth the effort, you'll have good memories to last forever. Imagine yourself at the top of a camel trekking in the Sahara Desert. There is nothing around you, and all you can hear are the tracks of the camel on the soft sand. The sky is vast and clear in the day and filled with millions of bright stars at night.

Wow! That sure is one hell of a picture! Thank you for sharing. Tomas

Unexpectedly cloudy midday at Luxor, Egypt. Very calm so was able to get nice reflection from the water. Shot from upper deck of cruise ship handheld

Enjoy the scenery :)
