Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @softa:

The National Theater in Prague is a neo-Renaissance building opened in 1881. It was reconstructed after a fire and reopened in 1883. After a long time, I got to take pictures of Prague and created some interesting photographs. Perhaps I waited a long time in the photo of the theater because, since 2012, the building was under reconstruction.

The Church of Saint Lawrence in Prague is a church of the Old Catholic Church of the Czech Republic. It is located on Petřín hill, next to Petřín Lookout Tower and the Hunger Wall. It was originally a Romanesque church, later rebuilt in the Baroque style by Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer.

What a great image and excellent location for a walk. Wonderful entry to be featured today. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas

Close-up of the front side of the White Chateau, one of the chateaus of the Hradec nad Moravici Chateau Complex. Located just outside of the Silesian city of Opava, the Hradec nad Moravici Chateau is considered one of the most beautiful chateaus in the Czech Republic.

Ruins of what used to be a huge fortification gate in the South Moravian town of Straznice. The fortification was built in the second half of the 16th century when this part of the country was threatened by the feared Otoman Empire.

The Dancing House is a modern building on Rašín's waterfront in Prague, completed in 1996. When I built this building I totally hated it because it did not fit into the historic waterfront. After more than 20 years I have become accustomed to it and in some ways I tolerate it. But considering how many tourists take photos every day, it has become one of the tourist attractions.

Interesting structure.

chko pálava, wildlife sanctuary in mikulov
Interesting landscape and forest with grapevines and ruined castles.
We walked a 12 km trail which was well marked and popular with locals. Some excellent views from the high points. Track was mostly in very good condition but you need some fitness for the steeper parts.

I just absolutely love that place and cannot wait to return in September for our annual cycling trip of South Moravia with my buddies.

Prague Castle is the heart of Prague. From here, it's best to start an excursion around Prague. Prague Castle, more accessible and popular, and for this you begin to love it even more.
It is a place with a thousand-year history, the largest ancient castle in Europe. Here you can learn a lot and get an idea of the Czech Republic as a state, which in the future will help in understanding other attractions in Prague and the Czech Republic. Prague Castle is also the residence of the President of the Czech Republic, as it has for centuries been the residence of the rulers.

nice pic. i love the colours and the bird.. .. composition.. nice one

Let us enjoy another the prague castle in fullness. The prague castle is symbolic; and representation of culture and history. No one comes to this place and leave empty. You are educated to know what happened some time past.

After 27 km long hike we arrived to our final destination. It is popular not only as a source of the Elbe River and for unique outlooks and panoramas of the whole Krkonoše Mountains, but you will also see the highest waterfall in the Czech Republic - Pančavský Waterfall - 148 m high.

This is an image I took on friday on my way to Hvězda Chateau near my home in Prague 6 area of Liboc.
This ages old alley is a path towards the Chateau which itsel was built on a blueprint of a hexagram in year 1555. Mighty energetical currents flow through this buildings core.
What I love the most about this place is the walk under the trees which never fails to make me feel as If I have just entered a cathedral with arched Gothic ceilings.

Gotta love Prague's parks.
All the best! Enjoy the nature surrounding you, it is so refreshing! Love F.

These are the gardens of the Senate: perfect for a break after walking
Our 4 year old son loved it because he was able to observe magnificent white peacocks .
Very relaxing and very well maintained with pretty statues.
Do not forget to observe the wall of gray stalactites (quite surprising!)
2 entrances: through a small door next to a large wall or through the main entrance.
