The Road To Steem Fest | Catching up

Hello dear Steemians and all beautiful Blockchain people!

It is the right time to talk again about Steem Fest 4 that will take place in Bangkok, because @steemfest will start in less than one week:

In this post I would like to share with you my thoughts and excitement about Steem Fest. And, actually, in the Summer I missed to write a post on the topic The Road to Steem Fest | Business or Pleasure? ... So in this post I wall add a little bit about it.

So, let's start ... First of all I want to remind you that I visited last year Steem Fest 3 that took place in November, 2018 in Kraków. It was a massive event! I was so impressed! And it was a game changer in my Steem Journey - I met a lot of nice Steemians from all over the world and made friends with them. I wrote about it in my post My Road to Steem Fest 3 in Kraków / A Trip Down The Memory Lane

After having visited Steem Fest 3 I realized that Steem Fest is something great and that I will always try to attend this event. That's why at the beginning of the year I started to plan how to attend Steem Fest 4 and in January I started to save money for Steem Fest 4. I wrote about it in my post Planning to attend Steem Fest 4 in Bangkok and in the post The Road to Steemfest | Three Reasons Why I Want To Go To Steem Fest 4

Of course I met a lot of nice people at Steem Fest 3 and, in addition, during the last almost one year I've made a lot of friends on Steem blockchain ... That's why I wrote a post Steemians who I want to meet at Steem Fest 4 in Bangkok
.

So, I became so excited about Steem Fest 4 and that's why I did a lot of budgeting and how to fund my trip to Bangkok. I wrote about in in my post Road to Steemfest | About my budget and how to get to Steem Fest 4 in Bangkok. And although I had some financial issues (I wrote about it in the post My Actual Plan For Steem Fest 4) in the end I was able to manage it and to buy a ticket to Steem Fest, to book accommodation and to buy a flight ticket. So, Bangkok I am coming!

Also I would like to underline that I consider Steem Fest as a social event, appropriate for networking as well. But visiting Steem Fest has also another beauty - you can visit a new country, a new place, etc. So you can look at Steem Fest from another angle as well - you can just be a tourist. And Thailand seems to be quite an exotic country to me, although I have visited some countries in that part of the world such as: South Korea, China, Japan and Singapore (I mentioned them in a post Road To Steemfest | Three truths and one lie about me). I think that Thailand will be to some extent similar to these Asian countries to me, but also I think that it will be much more exotic ...That's why I wrote a post in which I explained what places I would like to visit in Bangkok: The Road to Steemfest | Places I want to visit in Bangkok during Steem Fest.

So to put it in a nutshell, visiting Steem Fest has many different positive aspects. You can meet some nice Steemians from all over the world and make new friends. You can visit a new place and explore a new country. And, in addition, who knows ... probably you can meet some developers/teams and become a part of some Blockchain project (so, I consider it as an opportunity similar to finding a job).

But along with the positivity about Steem Fest I had some fears! Due to the Bear Market in the crypto world I expect low attendance at Steem Fest 4. I wrote about it a few weeks ago in the post The road to Steem Fest | My Fears.

But, now, when Steem Fest is in less then one week I have no fears already! I am so excited about Steem Fest! Even if we are not a lot of people I am sure it will be fun! Also I think that Bangkok is really a nice place! And to be honest, I've been thinking the last few months a lot about Steem Fest ... and I still don't have a clear picture what it will be like. So it will be a kind of surprise! So, I am excited about it!

See ya next week at Steem Fest 4 in Bangkok!

p.s. yesterday I was in the city of Plovdiv (that is 80 km away from my home town) and I bought some summer cloths for Bangkok! Now I am going to start preparing my luggage ...
