After trying out steemit for 70 days it's time to make an evaluation and think about the where this is all going. It did not take long for me to get addicted to this platform. I see it as a video game with a very enjoyable learning experience that I have to beat. The main problem going forward for me is the massive amounts of my time this platform has taken from me in a very similar way to being addicted to a video game / cryptocurrency / poker / sports betting,...
So my plan going forward is to make my steemit experience much more time efficient while still bringing good quality sports betting related content.
EPL Betting Contest
This has been running consistently for 7 weeks by now and I intend to keep it going for the entire season. The format by now is pretty stable and seems to work. I do plan on changing the payout to 2 SBD for the winner and 3 SBD split between all those who manage to make profit removing the resteem prize pool but keeping the jackpot. The most time hosting this contest goes out to listing all the results in the winner announcement post which I will no longer do. So far around 45 SBD has been given away with 20$+ being reserved for the next jackpot winner. Thanks to @acidyo who's upvotes really boosted the jackpot prize pool ! I intend to also grow the weekly 5 SBD guaranteed prize once my earnings increase here on steemit.
Steemit Sports Contests Report
The August Report and the September Report got great feedback and big upvotes mainly thanks to support from @ats-david and I will keep making these once a month. I love to participate in sports contests on steemit myself and will continue to scout for new contests that are worthy of making this list.

My aim is to Power Up towards 5000 Steem Power over time and I will be making posts to giveaway upvotes each time I reach a new high or power up after buying some more steem. I will be doing this instead of making an x amount of followers post.

I started using steemvoter.com to automate my votes a couple weeks back. Anyone who brings content that I really value, supports me with upvotes or has a Nitrogensports account under my referral will get on my list to get automatic upvotes!
Personal Betting Results / Weekly League Roundups
Both these help me to stay sharp and I do believe they contain quite some quality information that sports bettors can use in their own betting. I'm sure that part of the excellent personal results so far this season are thanks to making these weekly posts.
Posting bets on Steemit
When first starting to use steemit my plan was to post some of my bets here. It took me a while to find a good way to do this and I think current format works quite well. I started using some of my long term Bitcoin holdings as a mini bankroll in a responsible way and will post everything I bet with this bankroll on steemit while closely tracking the results. At the same time it should be possible to follow and it might get me some referrals on some of the reputable Bitcoin sportsbooks I'm using myself.

I have quite a lot to talk about after being an active sports bettor for over 15 years now and I will continue making articles when I have some spare time. Over time this should all add up to a nice library for people who are new to sports betting and want to learn the basics and more advanced concepts to become more successful.

Sports Betting Blockchain
I started doing a weekly overview with chart updates and news on the blockchain projects that involve Sports Betting. They quickly felt like a job to make, mainly since I'm not interested in the 'prediction markets' as a sports bettor. I have some invested in Wagerr and follow that project. This will be the one I will bring updates on from now on along with anything else in this space that really sparks my attention. I plan on making a full review on Wagerr soon and will also post worthy news updates on this project. I am also keeping an eye out for the bookie.exchange project.
Promoting Steemit to Sports betting Community
I have always seen big potential in steemit as a tool for the Sports betting Community and always had an urge to promote it. I do believe right now that it is a matter of time before a steemit-like website will be launched with 100% sports betting focus that has odds verification and a blogabet service style build into it. Hopefully this will make use of the SMT tokes somehow. I will be making a series of post on ways for sports bettors to make money on Steemit and spread it around the betting community. Having some kind of Sports Bettors Alliance here on steemit also seems interesting, but the time it would require to set up and maintain is simply too much for me right now.

Good stuff, @costanza. I think we all are constantly evaluating why we are here and what we want out of it. I've certainly settled into a few topics that interest me, of which sports and betting have risen to the top.
Haven't been engaging too much in the sponsored games as of yet, but am tiptoeing into it. I'm looking forward to meeting fellow bettors, learning, and having fun.
