Steemit Music League Update

New music from Steemians, new Steemians charging up the leaderboard, new contest live, and more covered in this update of the Steemit Music League.

The Steemit Music League had fifteen (15) incredible entries from Steemians all over the globe apart in last week's challenges and league with nine (9) epic entries for this current week of the Steemit Music League (SML).

Currently, the Steemit Music League includes the Steemit Music League Challenge and the Beat Battle League. The winner is determined by the amount of points earned through League contests and challenges.

The Beat Battle League entries from last week are in the playlist below.

And below is a playlist of the entries of this week's #smlchallenge.

Below are the updated standings of the Steemit Music League as of today with the winner being announced on January 2, 2018 with the champion winning a trip to Las Vegas.

At the moment @beatseb leads the Steemit Music League by 218 points over the former leader @seveaux from the Netherlands.

As you can see above @a4v and @djlethalskillz both have a nice little friendly battle with only one point separating 4th and 5th place respectively.

Other big movers are @scuzzy leaping into 6th place after his recent win in the #beatbattle.

Also, there are nine (9) Steemians in a pack rising up the leaderboard separated by a range of less than 100 points.

This end of Season One is sure going to deliver some suspense to see where your favorite Steemians end up. Good luck everyone :)

The Steemit Music League is a community built by the community for the community with the goal of providing the most feedback, recognition, and rewards and possible all while bringing Steemians together.

Also, this upcoming Monday starts a new community radio show called Music Today that discusses and highlights the different aspects of the Steemit music community.

From results from challenges and contests to discussions and interviews on different Steemian musicians, this radio show by @djlethalskillz, @seveaux, and @chiefmappster will be focused on the music community of Steemit.

It will start this Monday at 18:00 ECT [European Central Time] which is 09:00 Pacific Time [PT]/ 12:00 Eastern Standard Time [EST]. It will be broadcasted from SMA Radio in the Steemit Music Alliance Discord channel.

The Beat Battle League is in Week #13 and is a weekly beatbattle challenge that the music producers and beatboxers of Steemit can produce an entry based off a theme or sampled material for that week.

This week's theme is Childhood Memories. Prize pool is 46 SBD, Whaleshares, and other cryptocurrencies such as Voiceshares and SMOKE.

Week #13 of the Beat Battle League is accepting submissions until Sunday night, November 26th with the results being announced on the 27th.

The Steemit Music League Challenge is an open music contest for rappers, MCs, singers, vocalists, and producers. Basically if you have a passion for music you can submit an entry every week.

Each week's theme changes with some nice switch-ups coming up . The prize pool is 40 SBD, Whaleshares, and other cryptocurrencies such as SMOKE and Voiceshares

The #smlchallenge is in Week #8 currently with the theme being New York Nights this week.
