Failed to Reach my Goal but I'm Going to Bed with Hope :)
As you may have read on today's post this was a huge day for me. I have been putting a ton of effort on building my Steemit account. At first I was doing it just for the money but as I continued to get positive feedback from my "followers" I began to switch my attention from making money and into writing good content and building connection with my fellow steemians.
This morning when I woke up I had the goal of gaining 100 new followers before bedtime. At the time of this post I only got about 60 gains for the day which is a pretty low blow for my self-esteem. On the brighter side I am happy to say that I gained something much better than 100 followers, what I got is PERSPECTIVE.
Today I realized what is truly important to me in regards to my presence in this platform. I realized that it is more important for me to be authentic, honest, transparent, friendly and uplifting than to simply make a bunch of money. That is why I am not sad of failing at achieving my goal but rather grateful and hopeful because I learned some huge lessons today.
I feel grateful that my approach has changed and I feel hopeful that my account will grow, not only in numbers but in love and quality of presence.
Once again I want to say thank you to all my early supporters, those who have encouraged me to be real and to write from my heart. You are the reason why I am still here today.

Iam so glad you posted this: content curation commenting as @merj88 states. You want to have good followers not the quick F4F stuff. I get caught up easily in the compulsive addiction to this place. Be true Be original and all will fall in place! Steemon!

I like you already! Sometimes we dont reach or goals like we want to but Hey.... Aim for the moon and you might miss, But aim for the stars and you ... i forgot the rest of it lol.. But its supposed to be if we aim higher we get better results :)
