Yenten Coin

Recently I stumbled upon Yenten Coin. A very culty looking website: conan-equals-newone with retro semi-frolicky music and the promise of food and a "lambo" (Lamborghini) if you keep mining until 2020. Because that will be the time when 1 YTN > 1 Yen. In fact, one YTN is already > 1 Yen, but that makes it even more funny.

The roadmap is simple: 2017 to 2020 is for mining (CPU-Mining only mind you, with a new scrip that makes it a coin that is harder to mine with GPU's), and being listed on exchanges.

The coin is unpretentious; no flashy websites, no big ico's, and ... thank god.... no pictures of "The Team".

I started to think, why am i so attracted to this coin? I think especially for the tong-in-cheek approach, but still with the fairness of day one in crypto: no pre-mine, fair start, max cap of coins and everybody can mine this thing.

Also, I think kids may think this is a cool project, as Bitcoin is already old and is expensive. Also kids have no possibilities at all to interact with current cryptocurrency. They can only buy and sell as they have no money for fancy mining equipment. So, Yenten can not be hijacked by rich old men. A true coin for the kids.

What is even more appealing, is that the dev is anonymous. I think this is a must have nowadays. I know there are many ICO's and premined alts out there with promising projects and flashy pictures of the teams: men with ties, difficult glasses and "hipster" beards. I for one will never NEVER EVER put money in overhyped projects. The anonymous dev of Yenten gives this coin some mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto allure. Bitcoin as it was meant: for the people and not for rich old men only. Created by Conan-Equal-Newone.

And the cult grows stronger because of an explicit warning: Yenten is only for men > 21 yrs and girls are not allowed.

I think this coin has brilliant marketing by coincedence. Everything about it makes me mine the heck about it. Yoin me in one of the pools. For example: bunnymining or in the miso souppool.
